Which band is the most popular in South Korea now？The answer is EXO.EXO is a boy
band. They perform music in both Chinese and Korean.EXO held a series of concerts in
China in the summer of 2014. Hong Kong was their first stop.
EXO came into being in April，2012.There were 12 members in the group at that time.
Their first song Mama came out No.1 on the Chinese music chart only one day after it was
released(发行).Their song，Growl，was listed as the best Korean pop music in 2013.Till this
day，the group has won over forty awards. It is unusual for a young band to become so
successful in such a short time.
However，in May, 2014，a team member，Kris，left the group. This news broke the

(1) by the end of意为“到……末为止”。仅指时间，指某一动作在某时间点以前或到
某一时间段为止就已发生或完成，多用于过去完成时。若后面接的是将来时间， 句
子要用将来时态。
(2) at the end of可指时间或地点，意为“在……结束时；在……尽头”。
