MyTriptoSingapore
I once went to Singapore for a short trip. It is a very small country in
South East Asia with a population of five million people. I spent around 5
hours flying there but I had to wait in line to get my luggage and it took me
anotherfivehoursbeforeIfinallysawthiscountry.
I was wondering whether I could understand the local people until I
found them speaking both Chinese and English. It really relaxed me. But I
sometimes couldn’tunderstandtheir accent, I hadto usemy body language to
express my words, like nodding my head to show my agreement or opening
my arms to show my kindness and so on. Luckily, the communication was
donefine.
