China is in the east of Asia. It has a population of over 1.4 billion people. With a history of
about 5 thousand years, China is a country full of culture. Beijing, the capital city, is both old and
modern.
There are many places to visit in China. Chinese gardens like the Summer Palace and the
Zhuozheng Garden in Suzhou have been famous for the taste of natural beauty. Besides, there are
thousands of museums across the China. Among them, the Museum of the Terra-cotta Warriors
and Horses of Qin Shihuang catches the most attention. You can learn a lot about the first emperor
in China’s history. China also has quite a few places of natural beauty, such as Mount Huang.
People can go there in any season except winter. Because it’s dangerous to climb the mountains or
hills on snowy days. Moreover, the trip to theme parks like Shanghai Disneyland may be exciting
enough for kids to have fun.
In China, most people speak Mandarin and a large number of people can communicate in
English nowadays. People use RMB in China, but it’s easier to pay by Alipay or Wechat pay.
Different places have their own special food, the tastes can be very different. The weather is very
different around China. While it is cold in Beijing, it is warm in Guilin. So prepare for it before
you go.

Here is the result of our choices for travelling.
There are 10 members in our group, half of them choose to take the train when they go for a
trip, because it is quite convenient. 3 members say they prefer self-driving travelling which is
more flexible on the time. And the other 2 members like taking the plane to travel to farther places,
because this will save a lot of time.
As for the kinds of travelling, 60 percent of our group choose the group tour, they say they
don’t need to make the plan by themselves, so they can focus on enjoying the beauty during the
trip. Moreover, group tours offer the chances to meet new people and make new friends, they can
share their travel experiences with each other. Compared with joining a travel agency, the other 40
percent choose to have independent travel, because they can choose the activities and places they
want to visit. This can also be a great opportunity for their personal growth, force them to try new
things, making them more confident and independent.
Budget is a key factor that decides the type of travel that people can afford, so different
families have different ideas. A family with a limited budget may choose to travel to a nearby
place, while someone with a larger budget may choose to travel to a far-off destination. But all our
group members agree that no matter how much money we have for the travelling, trying some
local food and buying some souvenirs are must-do things.
When it comes to the preferences of travelling, most of our group members like to enjoy the
beautiful landscapes of different places, we would like to experience hiking in a national park,
admiring the architecture of ancient cities, or simply relaxing by the ocean. Theme parks are our
second choice, because they provide fantastic experiences for us, we can spend the whole day
there.
