Listen attentively
Parents stepped into the classroom and experienced a real, everyday lesson. There were no rehearsed “demonstration classes,” only natural teacher-student interactions and an authentic classroom rhythm.

This immersive experience allowed parents to see firsthand that our secondary school classrooms maintain a solid academic progression while leaving ample space for thinking and expression.

With an atmosphere of equal dialogue and an efficient yet unhurried pace, parents gained a direct understanding of the solid teaching environment and advanced educational philosophy of our secondary school, getting a preliminary taste of the unique charm of middle school classes.

Parents and students then moved to the small theater, where the official information session began. The event was rich in content and well-paced, showcasing the secondary school’s educational strengths and achievements.

Outstanding student representatives from Grades 7 and 8 confidently took the stage. Sixth-grade students eagerly raised their hands and asked questions about middle school learning pace, club activities, habit development, and personal growth.

The older students shared their experiences sincerely and offered practical advice. The lively interaction lifted the veil on middle school life and filled the younger students with anticipation.

Principal Liu of the Secondary School then took the stage, providing a comprehensive overview of the school’s educational philosophy, student development goals, teaching staff, distinctive management, and academic achievements. Focusing on students’ long-term development, Principal Liu explained the school’s approach to education, leaving parents with a deep sense of the school’s responsibility and commitment to building a platform for student growth.

Director Chen, Academic Director of the Secondary School, provided a detailed explanation of the Chinese curriculum system, covering course offerings, teaching plans, subject characteristics, and competency development. She clearly outlined the solid academic foundation and scientific learning pathways, helping parents understand their child’s future knowledge development trajectory.

The introduction to the Integrated Program was equally impressive. Teacher Chen, a representative of the Chinese teaching team, carefully explained the teaching focus, educational characteristics, and transition plans of the Integrated Program’s Chinese curriculum, highlighting the advantages of integrating Chinese and international education.

Mr. Nigel, Director of Cambridge International High School, and Ms. Xiao, Academic Supervisor, professionally presented the teaching system, international resources, and academic advantages of the Integrated Program’s international curriculum. This gave parents a deep understanding of the school’s international education capabilities and provided clear guidance for families with global education aspirations.

Outstanding student representative Chen shared his campus life experiences with sincerity and authenticity. He talked about his academic gains, interactions with teachers and classmates, and personal growth journey. Subsequently, Chen’s parent took the stage, sharing from a parent’s perspective how the child had changed and grown since joining the school. Her heartfelt words expressed gratitude and recognition for the school and teachers, leaving the audience deeply moved by the school’s warmth and dedication.

A half-day information session cannot tell the entire three-year story of middle school. But at least, parents saw the real classrooms, children heard genuine advice from older students, and everyone left with their own answers. The rest will be left to time, to Haiya, and to every day they will grow up here.
