英语答案 第3页(共4页)M:⑱Anderson came to his mother while his mother was having her breakfast, saying, “No one
at my school likes me, mother. The teachers don’t, the children don’t, even the cleaners and the bus
drivers hate me.” “Well,Anderson,” his mother replied. ⑳“Perhaps you are not very nice to them.
If a few people don’t like a person, he or she may not be responsible for that, but if a lot of people
don’t, there is usually something wrong with the person, and that person really needs to change.”
“I’m too old to change,”Anderson said to his mother, “I don’t want to go to school. I don’t want to
see the teachers and I don’t want to see the children. I may go crazy.” “Don’t be silly, Anderson,”
his mothersaid softly, going tothe garage to get the car out.“You have to go to your school at once.
Your teachers and your children are waiting for you. The school will be a mess without a leader like
you. As a matter of fact, you’re quite well. ⑲The children’s parents and the pubic have been
praising you, saying that you are a responsible leader.”Anderson’s mother paused for a short while
and went on, “Anderson, although you still have a lot to learn, you have already been a good
headmasterof theschool.”
