Unit 3 Weather (A Let’s learn &Let’s chant)
一．Teaching Analysis
本节课教学内容为 PEP 小学英语四年级下册 Unit 3 Weather part A
Let’s learn and Let’s chant. 这一单元的主要教学内容是学习形容天气
的英语表达, 本课时通过天气预报员预报中国几大城市的气温和天气
状况，学习运用warm\ cold\cool\hot这些形容词来表达天气情况。本课
时的单词对多数学生来说并不难，个别同学通过自学就已经掌握了一
些重点单词，就是weather report对他们来说有些难度，而且运用方面
还不够熟练。
二．Teaching Aims
a. 能够听、说、认读单词hot, cold, warm, cool, weather。
b. 能够熟练运用句型 It’s warm/cool/hot/cold in Beijing/…来介绍不同
地方的天气特征。
c. 培养学生自主学习的能力和合作精神。

1. 重点：能听、说、认读单词weather , warm , cold , hot , cool。
2. 难点：运用新学的单词和句型模拟天气预报。

Step1. Warm-up
1. Greeting.2. Let’s do ：Go to the…（Unit1 Let’s do.）
Step2. Presentation and practice.
1. Lead-in 不同的天气，我们穿不同的衣服来适应温度
2. Learn the new word—weather.
a. 利用学过的单词father, mother, brother来学习单词weather的发音。
b. 注意“ea”和“th”的发音。
3. Learn the English names of the four cities: Harbin, Beijing, Lhasa,
Hong Kong
4. Learn the new word—cold.
a．利用拼读法来学习单词cold。
b. 渗入语音教学。 延伸到其他有相同语音组合的生词：old, told, fold
c. 利用chant里面的句型进行单词操练。
d．呈现句子 It’s cold in Harbin today.
5. Learn the new word—warm
a．利用拼读法来学习单词warm。
b. 渗入语音教学。延伸到其他有相同语音组合的生词：war, ward,
sward
c. 利用chant里面的句型进行单词操练。
d．呈现句子 It’s warm in Beijing today.
6. Learn the new word—cool.
a. 利用拼读法来学习单词cool。
b. 利用单词卡和录音来加深学生对 cool 的发音的印象，以此来帮助学生记忆。
c. 渗入语音教学。延伸到其他有相同语音组合的单词: school, pool,
fool
d．呈现句子 It’s cool in Lhasa today.
7. Learn the new word—hot .
a. 利用拼读法来学习单词 hot。
b. 呈现 hot\ dog 来帮助学生记忆单词，以及巩固hot的发音。
c. 利用chant里面的句型进行单词操练。
d．呈现句子 It’s hot in Hong Kong today.
8. 完整呈现句子（复习小结）。
a. 看图填空。 b. 全部朗读。 c. 自读
