earth.
第三节
听下面一篇短文。根据你所听到的短文内容,从A、B、C三个选项中选出
正确答案。短文读两遍。
Is there any intelligent life on other planets? For many years, scientists said
“no” or “We don’t know”. But today this is changing. Seth and Alex are space
scientists. They think the universe is really huge and there must be intelligent
life somewhere in the universe. They also think we will soon talk with them. Why do
they think so? The first reason is time. Scientists believe the universe is about 12
billion years old. “This is long enough for other planets to have intelligent life,” said
Seth and Alex. The second reason is size. The universe is huge. Seth said,
“There are at least 100 billion galaxies in the universe. Our galaxy, the
Milky Way, has at least 100 billion stars. Some planets going around these
stars may be like our Earth.”答案解析

八、书面表达
Exploring the Space
Exploring the space is very interesting.
We send rockets into the inner and outer space. Brave astronauts can stay in the
special space station. They do some important tests there. Through space exploration,
we can know more about the universe. I think space exploration is like opening a door
to another new world. It may also help us find new places to live in the future. It
makes us dream of traveling among the planets.
Every time I hear about new achievements in space, I feel so excited. In the
future, we may even travel to other planets. We should support space exploration.
