①当用both… and… 连接主语时，谓语动词用复数形式：

使用就近原则：
e.g. Either you or Tom is going there tomorrow. / Either Tom or you are going there
tomorrow.

A Wet Night
Late in the afternoon, the boys put up [1] their tent in the middle of a field. As
soon as [2] this was done, they cooked a meal over an open fire. They were all
hungry and the food smelled good. After a wonderful meal, they told stories and
sang songs by the campfire [3]. But some time later it began to rain. The boys felt
