我们都知道in表示“在......范围”，那要是跟人表达说“我现在在办公室”，就是“I'm in office now”吗？

大错特错了，in office可不是“在办公室”的意思！

因为office有“官职、公职”的意思，hold office是政府任职、take office是总统就职。
