Apple Visual Look Up
Apple Visual Look Up is an AI feature for iPhone and iPad. It will identify plants, flowers, insects, birds, and
other animals shown in any photo. Using an Apple product running iOS16 or iPadOS16, you can use the feature by
choosing a photo in your phone, then touching the “info” image below it. It is the letter “I” in a circle with stars
above it.

It started with a parenting course I-took when my three sons were in elementary school. The class consisted of
eight two-hour sessions and included reading and homework assignments. The basic message weaving its way
through all eight sessions was “Pick Your Battles”. Another piece of advice that went along with that was “Remain
Flexible”.
What started out as parenting advice went much further than that and has guided me to this day after taking the
class when the situation presented itself. If there were two differing opinions’, I would stop and think. I had todecide if theoutcome was worth a battle or was even worth the time it took to discuss it. If my son wanted to wear
the same superhero shirt to school three days in the row, did it really matter? No, I would have been more
comfortable if he had worn a clear shirt each day, but he was happy. If his friends gave him a hard time about his
shirt, he would have to deal with it. It wasn’t my issue after all.
The class also told us that flexibility especially when it involved kids, was key. Was it more important to
follow a planned schedule or was it better to remain flexible enough to make changes to that schedule even at the
last minute? Well, of course you need to be flexible and make changes. We were with a group a few years ago,
driving through the mountains to a small town where we were planning to have a picnic lunch. On the way there we
saw that a beautiful new winery (葡萄酒厂) had opened. It was not on our schedule. If we stopped, it would delay
our picnic in the park, but we did stop. We had an amazing experience. Had we not been flexible, we would have
missed out on that fantastic opportunity.

Amazingly for the British, who love queues, there is no formal line-up. The bar staff are skilled at knowing
whose turn it is. You are permitted to try to attract attention, but there are rules about how to do this. Do not call
out, tap coins on the counter, or wave like a drowning swimmer. Do not sigh or roll your eyes. And whatever you
do, do not ring the bell hanging behind the counter. This is used by the landlord to signal closing time. The key
thing is to catch the bar workers’ eyes. You could also hold an empty glass or some money, but do not wave them
about. Do adopt an expectant, hopeful, even slightly anxious facial expression. If you look too complacent, the bar
staff may assume you are already being served.
Always say “please” and try to avoid some of the British bar staff’s annoyance. They do not like people to
keep others waiting while they make up their minds. They don’t like people standing against the bar when there are
a lot of customers wanting for service. And they do not like people who wait until the end of the order and ask for
such drinks as Guinness Stout which take considerably longer to pour than other drinks.
One Dutch tourist who spent six months visiting 800 of Britain’s 61,000 bars and interviewing 50 bar workers
and more than 1,000 customers said, “I can not understand how the British ever manage to buy themselves a drink.”
But they do, and if you follow these tips you should be able to do so, too.
Speaking of tips, you should never offer the bar staff cash. The correct behavior is to offer them a drink. Bars
pride themselves on their equal atmosphere. A tip in cash would be a reminder of their service role. However, the
offer of a drink is a friendly gesture.

motorized wheelchair Scewo Bro that is a complete solution — This smart wheelchair is so advanced and multi-
task that it won the Design Prize in 2021 and has been recognized as a pioneer in the medical technology industry.
With clearly defined lines and a reduction to the essentials, the design team developed a clear design language.
That way, Scewo Bro is seen as a new generation of wheelchairs at first glance. Scewo Bro users can control the
wheelchair either by a touch interface (界面) or a smartphone. They can switch from one to the other and can also
choose from three different modes: park mode, drive mode, and track mode. This allows for any terrain (地形) and
for people with mobility disabilities to be independent.
Built with safety in mind, the seat always balances itself so the user stays in a sitting position. This feature
allows users to deal with different terrains without the risk of tipping over. Besides, the foot rests, seat, and arm
rests are designed to be comfortable and adjustable.
The smart wheelchair can go up to 35 kilometers on one charge and can go 10 kilometers per hour. If a break
is needed, just put the chair into the relaxation position. The smart wheelchair comes with two secure storage areas
for people on the go to store valuables. It can fit in the trunk of a car and can be charged in just five hours, whose
awesomeness is more than you expected.
Scewo Bro is available in Switzerland, Austria, and Germany. While the first batch (首批) has sold out, people
can pre-order for delivery at the end of 2023. This futuristic wheelchair will allow for increased movement and a

You can take more control of your recall — as our memory expert Jonathan Hancock explains.
I was sorting through some boxes in the loft last week when I came across my childhood. The moment that I

away any pictures that appeared. And this turned out to be more than just a temporary distraction. It gradually

It shows that recall relies on associations and images. And you can strengthen both of these factors when you
want to remember: For example.

I really like my job—teaching, in which I can watch children grow up and understand slowly, especially when
I can play a part in it. However, it can be a challenging job. There are times when students can seem uninterested in

Tyler was enrolled in my senior American government class for a term. He had impulse-control and anger-
management issues. He had been suspended (停课) many times before. When he entered my class in his senior
year, I expected the worst.
Every time I talked at the front of the class. I would ask questions of students, calling them by name. Doing
this helped me to get to know them and learn their names. Unfortunately, every time I called on Tyler, he would
respond with a glib (未经思考的) answer. If he got an answer wrong, he would become angry.
About a month into the year, I was still trying to connect with Tyler. I could usually get students to join in class
discussions or at least encourage them to sit quietly; by contrast, Tyler was just loud.
One day, Tyler was talking while I was teaching. In the middle of the lesson, I said, “Tyler, why don’t you join
in our discussion instead of having one of your own?” With that, he got up from his chair, pushed it over and yelled

Due to his terrible performance in my class, he was sent to the office with a discipline referral (纪律处罚表),
and he received a week-long out-of-school suspension.
To this point this was one of my worst teaching experiences. I feared that class every day. Tyler’s anger was
almost too much for me, like a bomb, ready to explode anytime. The week Tyler was out of school was a wonderful
