for me to relax.It was at that time that I realized what important it was to master a certain
skill.Don’t refuse to learn a skill because you will find it very help later.

The topic of my speech today was “School Safety”．It is no doubt that school safety is
directly relate to students’ healthy growth and the happiness of millions of families.But what to
guarantee school safety?
Firstly，to improve school safety，we should keep our classrooms，hallways and other
school areas are organized and free of hazards.Secondly，the last person leave the classroom must
keep locks on all doors and windows.Thirdly，raise fire safety awareness.While fire drills can
seem repetitive at times，practice them seriously can cause the difference between safety and
danger in the event of a fire emergency.Lastly，turn off all electrical equipment as soon as we
don’t use them.
Let’s take action right now but make our own contribution to creating the safe campus!

One day in June，all of sudden，it rained heavily and the raindrops made a wonderful
sound.We felt very hot in the classroom that we couldn’t concentrate on schoolwork and instead
of were eager to enjoy the cool rain.Sensed that ， the teacher simple wrote “sitting and
listening” on the blackboard with a smile.I am sitting next to the window，listening to the rain.It
seemed to calm me down but reminded me of ancient Chinese poems，who brought me a sense of
peace.We should appreciate the small thing in life，like sunsets and rainbows after storms.In this
way，we can develop their inner world into an ideal state.

(2022·江西赣州一模)A few weeks ago，I received a package which contained some seeds as gift from my friend.I
sowed the seeds in the soil of a beautiful flowerpot but during the first few days，something
happened.I began to feel disappointing and a bit down.I water the seeds in dry periods and made
sure not to over-water them.Also，I placed the flowerpot in the sunlights.More days passed.Under
my care，the flowerpot soon became crowded of green plants.Thanks to my friend and my
patient，these plants have played an important part in brighten my everyday life.Let us all to slow
our pace down but be patient to observe the world around us carefully.
