league. Heremained there for about ayear before theNBA took noticeofhim. In 1985,he
joinedthe AtlantaHawks and became theshortest player inthe NBA at that time. Hehad
many great achievements, but hisproudest momentcame in1986—he won theSlam Dunk
Contest.
Through hard work, Spud Webb proved that sizeand bodytype donot matter—you can
doalmostanything ifyou never give up.
