形容词比较级是中高考必考的考点，而且是学英语绕不过的知识点，在生活中也很常用，毕竟比较是最基本的研究方法和思维。以下是形容词比较级的干货知识点，请收藏好，会让你考试更顺利！

一、变化规则

（一）规则变化

1. 一般直接加-ertall → taller；short → shorter；clean → cleaner

以 e 结尾，只加-rnice → nicer；late → later；fine → finer

2. 重读闭音节：辅 + 元 + 辅结尾，双写末尾辅音字母 + erbig → bigger；thin → thinner；hot → hotter；fat → fatter

3. 辅音字母 + y 结尾：变 y 为 i + erheavy → heavier；easy → easier；happy → happier

4. 多音节词 / 部分双音节词：前面加 morebeautiful → more beautiful；interesting → more interesting；popular → more popular

补充：少数双音节词两种都可以，如：clever → cleverer /more clever

（二）不规则变化（必考，必须背诵）

good/well → better

bad/badly → worse

many/much → more

little → less

far → farther（距离更远）/further（程度，进一步）

old → older（年龄）/elder（长幼辈分，elder sister 姐姐）

二、核心句型（中高考高频考点）

A + be + 比较级 + than + B A 比 B…… He is taller than me.
比较级 + and + 比较级越来越…… taller and taller 越来越高；more and more beautiful 越来越漂亮
the + 比较级，the + 比较级越……，就越…… The more, the better. 越多越好。
A + be + 比较级 + than + any other + 单数名词 A 比同一范围其他任何一个都……（最高级含义） He is taller than any other student in his class.

修饰词（重点！！！）：比较级前面可用 much, a lot, a little, even, far 修饰；不能用 very; 比如：much bigger 大得多；a little colder 稍微冷一点
