今天给大家带来的依旧是选必四Unit1Science Fiction Reading and Thinking，这次是龙泉中学的高三备课组长龚艺雯老师，龚老师撰写的教学设计对于本课和本单元进行了非常详实的语篇分析。

Activity 1: Lead-in

①请学生观看视频，并思考视频中两个人物的关系。这里通过一个video创设情境。

②请学生思考：What would you say to your virtual lover? How would such a conversation make you feel？

Activity 2: Read for the title and text type

①引导学生关注标题请学生猜测Who would be satisfied？

②问学生text tpye.

③接着请学生predict the main idea.

Activity 3: Read for the structure and main idea

①3分钟时间scan for the main idea.

Activity 4: Read for the characters and relationships

请学生思考这四个人物之间的关系，给学生一分钟时间 draw a mind map to sort out character relationship.

Activity 5: Read for the plots

What are Claire’s problems and what kind of person is she?

How does Tony help her and what kind of machine is Tony?

Students fill in a “plot analysis form” independently.

Activity 6: Figure out the change of Claire’s feelings.

用曲线图梳理情感变化。

Activity 7: Discussion

Divide students into two teams:Team A (“Claire fell in love with Tony”) and TeamB (“Claire didn’t fall in love with Tony” ). Hold a debate; students can freely supplement views. Did Claire really fall in love with Tony?

引导学生形成自己的观点。

Activity 8 : Critical thinking

Come up with your own Three Laws of Robotics

Students work in groups to design three "RobotBehaviour Rules"and present the rules to the class.
