When he rubbed it, noise, fire and red smoke came from the lamp, and out of the smoke came a very big jinnee (神仙). “ I’ am slave of the lamp. What is your wish, master?” Cried the jinnee. With this magic lamp, Aladdin and his mother became rich and he even married the princess. He owned all the happiness. Meanwhile, he was respected by people around for his kindness to the poor. However, he was envied by Abanazar a magician from Morocco who wanted Aladdin’s magic lamp very much but he didn’t know where thelamp was hidden. So he got out his seven black stones which were magic too, and put them in water. Then he was informed that the lamp was in a palace in Arabia. Abanazar flew to the palace and plotted his dirty plans. For the next week Abanazar watched Aladdin’s palace until Aladdin and his friends left the palace to go hunting in the hills one day. Abanazar passed off himself as an old man, selling lamps in the street. “But not for money.” a slave-girl reported to the princess, “the old man said, ‘New lamps for old. Give me an old lamp and you can have a new one’. So every body’s getting a new lamp.” “Yes, my husband’s old lamp! Go and give it to the old man”, the princess knew nothing about the lamp and its magic, “ Aladdin will be happy to have a nice new lamp!” The old man(it was Abanazar ,of course) fled into the hills with the magic lamp in such a hurry that his magic stones were left on the floor in front of the palace. Para 1. Abanazar just couldn’t wait to rub the lamp. ____________________________________________________________________________________________ ____________________________________________________________________________________________ ____________________________________________________________________________________________ ____________________________________________________________________________________________ Para 2. It was exactly my state of mind before the first day at college. I had been working hard to pass the necessary tests and have my application to the undergraduate programme in management approved. And when the time had come for me to visit the college for the first day of the study,I couldn't sleep all night because of beinganxious about how to look good physically in front of the whole new world I was about to enter. However, the positive attitude and readiness to accept support from others helped a lot in a new environment. It was Monday morning. Being too excited to sleep the night before, I came to the college half an hour earlier for the first lecture and was walking nervously through the hallway. About 15 minutes after I came, the hallway started to be full of students. Professors who walked on their business probably didn't pay attention to me. I knew which hall to go to and had already checked that it was open. However,I was hesitant to enter the hall and sit there alone. People were moving around me as if they hadn't seen me. I felt disappointed with the fact that I had nobody to talk to in the new and seemingly unfriendly place. Suddenly,a well-dressed man who seemed to be in his late twenties approached me. He introduced himself as Mathews and asked whether I was lost and whether he could help me with anything. In that situation,I realized it was very kind of him and that he was exactly the person I wanted to ask in my thoughts a minute before, but then I was too nervous for a friendly chat. As a result, instead of welcoming the opportunity to make the first acquaintance (相识), I told the man to mind his business and leave me alone since I was an adult capable of finding my class without anybody's assistance. 注意∶ 1.续写词数应为 150左右; 2.请按如下格式在答题卡的相应位置作答。 Luckily, the man didn't seem to be angry. ____________________________________________________________________________________________ ____________________________________________________________________________________________ ____________________________________________________________________________________________ ____________________________________________________________________________________________ Professor Mathews turned out to be an excellent speaker and the lecture went really well. ___________________________________________________________________________________________ ____________________________________________________________________________________________ ____________________________________________________________________________________________ ____________________________________________________________________________________________ 3.(2022·广东·深圳外国语学校模拟预测)阅读下面材料,根据其内容和所给段落开头语续写两段,使之构成一篇完整的短文。 Even before I reached the tent, I knew there would be trouble. My little brother Andy was following me, with a sleeping bag, a flashlight, and his stuffed bear. My friends Wade and Bred think Andy would ruin everything. He would get scared in the middle of the night and have to be taken back to the house. They complained so much you'd think they were hospital patients instead of kids I'd invited for an outdoor sleepover. Andy promised that he wouldn't ruin anything. He wormed his way into the tent and settled in the far corner. Night was settling in, too, with the woods around us fading toward black. The house, with its porch light, seemed a long way from us. “Time for ghost stories!” Brad announced as soon as I'd closed the tent. He told a story about vampires (吸 血鬼), but it only made us fall over laughing. When it was Wade's turn, he told a story of three guys who were camping in a tent. He described our situation exactly-except for Andy. When he was describing a terrifying creature, somewhere outside, a branch snapped (发出咔嚓声)。The hairs on my arms shot straight up. “These guys were crawling into their sleeping bags, right?” Wade continued. “When out of the darkness rang this terrible cry.” And out of the woods behind us there was a cry! High-pitched, frightening, and strange. The hairs on my head shot straight up! “What was that?” Bred asked as the cry came again. We all looked at each other in horror, speechless. Wade suggested someone should go out to check, but no one dared. “What if it's something trapped or hurt?” Andy said anxiously. We focused our flashlights on Andy, whom we'd forgotten, sitting in the corner with his arms around his bear. Andy would adopt every lost or hurt animal in the world if Mom would let him. 注意: 1.续写的词数应为150左右; 2.请按如下格式在答题卡的相应位置作答 “I'm going to see.” Andy ran out of the tent and disappeared in the darkness. ____________________________________________________________________________________________ ____________________________________________________________________________________________ ____________________________________________________________________________________________ ____________________________________________________________________________________________ Andy said it was a baby monkey caught between branches, and it was crying for its mama. ___________________________________________________________________________________________ ________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ ____________________________________________________________________________________________ 4.(2022·湖南·模拟预测) 阅读下面材料,根据其情节和所给段落开头语续写两段,使之构成一个完整的故事。 One weekend in July, Jane and her husband, Tom, had driven three hours to camp overnight by a lake in the forest. Unfortunately, on the way an unpleasant subject came up and they started to quarrel. By the time they reached the lake, Jane was so angry that she said to Tom, “I'm going to find a better spot for us to camp” and walked away. With no path to follow, Jane just walked on for quite a long time. After she had climbed to a high place, she turned around, hoping to see the lake. To her surprise, she saw nothing but forest and, far beyond, a snowcapped mountain top. She suddenly realized that she was lost. “Tom!” she cried. “Help!” No reply. If only she had not left her mobile phone in that bag with Tom. Jane kept moving, but the farther she walked, the more confused she became. As night was beginning to fall, Jane was so tired that she had to stop for the night. Lying awake in the dark, Jane wanted very much to be with Tom and her family. She wanted to hold him and tell him how much she loved him. Jane rose at the break of day, hungry and thirsty. She could hear water trickling (滴落) somewhere at a distance. Quickly she followed the sound to a stream. To her great joy, she also saw some berry bushes. She drank and ate a few berries. Never in her life had she tasted anything better. Feeling stronger now, Jane began to walk along the stream and hope it would lead her to' the lake. As she picked her way carefully along the stream, Jane heard a helicopter. Is that for me? Unfortunately, the trees made it impossible for people to see her from above. A few minutes later, another helicopter flew overhead. Jane took off her yellow blouse, thinking that she should go to an open area and flag them if they came back again. 注意: 1)所续写短文的词数应为150左右; 2)续写部分分为两段,每段的开头语已为你写好; 3)请在答题卡的相应位置作答; 4)字体端正,格式规范,卷面整洁。Paragraph l: But no more helicopter came and it was getting dark again. ____________________________________________________________________________________________ ____________________________________________________________________________________________ ____________________________________________________________________________________________ ____________________________________________________________________________________________ Paragraph 2: It was daybreak when Jane woke up. ____________________________________________________________________________________________ ____________________________________________________________________________________________ ____________________________________________________________________________________________ ____________________________________________________________________________________________ 5.(2022·重庆市天星桥中学一模) 阅读下面材料,根据其内容和所给段落开头语续写两段,使之构成一篇完整的短文 The five children in Larrane Leech’s day care group were outdoors early, painting landscapes under the dizzy sun. By 10 a. m., it was time to find shade, so Larrane decided they would walk down to the river. “We’re going to pick berries now, ” she announced. A nature lover, Larrane insisted they spend as much time as possible outdoors. Larrane handed each child an empty jar and called for Pal, her one-year-old German shepherd (德国牧羊犬). The group made its way over the dusty road and then onto a dirt path through the trees. They stopped at the first berry bush and got busy picking berries, cheering and talking excitedly. A young cougar (美洲狮)cocked an ear toward the birdlike chatter and sniffed the air. Stepping over the thick carpet of pine needles, the cougar moved quietly toward the children. Larrane sensed the children suddenly go quiet. She looked up to see the back end of a cougar, the size of Pal, standing over one child, Mikey. The sight of the cougar near her kids immediately froze Larrane. Larrane couldn’t tell whether Mikey had been bitten. Her mind racing wildly, she darted toward the cougar. Desperately intending to grab its tail, she shifted aim at the last minute and seized the cougar by the neck. She shook it from side to side.Instantly, the cougar wheeled toward Larrane. Growling and hissing, it stretched up high and brought its paws down upon the head of the woman. Although still in its youth, it had all the teeth and muscle a cougar needs to pull down a victim three times its size. This animal was capable of killing her. 注意:1 .续写词数应为150左右; 2.请按如下格式在答题卡的相应位置作答。 Now aware of the danger, the other four children screamed and ran behind Larrane. ____________________________________________________________________________________________ ____________________________________________________________________________________________ ____________________________________________________________________________________________ ____________________________________________________________________________________________ Larrane rushed to Mikey, who lay quietly on the ground. ____________________________________________________________________________________________ ____________________________________________________________________________________________ ____________________________________________________________________________________________ ____________________________________________________________________________________________ 6.(2022·辽宁·东北育才学校模拟预测) 阅读下面材料,根据其内容和所给段落开头语续写两段,使之构成一篇完整的短文。 An Act of Neighborliness The skies were dark. A strong wind was blowing hard, cutting my face like a sharp knife. Rain fell in big drops and thunder and lightning flashed across the skies. I shook with cold and fear as I walked home, through the streams of muddy water. Some people were rushing by, completely wet in the heavy rain. Along the way, I saw some schoolchildren holding their heavy schoolbags tightly and rushing home, I also saw that some road repair work had been abandoned by workers. Obviously, the workers had left in a hurry because of the storm. There were few signs and it was hard to see what was on the road. There were pieces of wood and metal and it looked like a hole had been dug and hurriedly covered with boards. I moved on but suddenly stopped as I heard some sounds. It sounded like children crying. I quickly turned back and went back to the place from where the sounds came. I was frightened! To my sadness, I found that a small child had fallen into the hole on the road. The boards had moved away with the force of the rushing water. I couldhardly see the child as it was dark all around me. I told he that I was going to look for help. I knew the neighbors well, and they all shared a sense of neighborliness, willing to give a hand. 注意:1.续写词数应为150左右;2.请按如下格式在答题卡的相应位置作答。 Actually, I was not sure of what to do or where to go but decided to go to the nearest house for help. ____________________________________________________________________________________________ ____________________________________________________________________________________________ _____________________________________________________The parents of the child who just arrived from work were totally shocked to hear of what had happened. ____________________________________________________________________________________________ ____________________________________________________________________________________________ _____________________________________________________ 7.读后续写模拟专练01 读后续写 阅读下面短文,根据所给情节进行续写,使之构成一个完整的故事。 One weekend in July, Jane andher husband, Tom, had driven three hours to camp overnight bya lake in the forest. The rain came down steady and hard. Jason Storie heard it but was not worried as he prepared for a day of caving with five friends in a remote spot 80 miles northwest of his home in Duncan, on Canada’s Vancouver Island. It was 6 a.m. on December 5, 2015. As a newcomer to the sport, Jason had gone caving only four times. This would be his toughest outing yet: a cave called Cascade. It was dangerous enough that the entrance was blocked by a locked metal door to keep the casual cavers out. About a mile long and 338 feet deep, Cascade was full of tums and barely passable tight squeezes. Jason was new among the group, with the least experience and, at 43, older by a decade or more. It was his friend Andrew Munoz, 33, who introduced him to the sport. Unlike Jason, Andrew was an expert caver-a former caving guide, actually. They hiked a bit before coming to the door, which sat in the ground—you’d miss it if you weren’t looking for it. It was 10 a.m. With their way lighted by headlamps, they walked down a narrow passage studded with sharp rocks. The silence was broken by a drip-drip-drip from above. Soon the drip turned into a light but steady flow, and they were wading in water up to their ankles, then to their shins. Two hours later, they approached one of the features that made the cave unique: a narrow passage not big enough to stand up in that led into a short, tight downhill. This had a name: Bastard’s Crawl. Four streams met here, and indeed, the water was flowing more quickly. The sound of the water had turned into a roar. When they finally neared the top of the Crawl, there were barely four inches of air left between the water and the ceiling. not enough for them to keep their heads up to breathe.
