AI医疗真的会实现吗?

前几天读到一篇关于医疗人工智能的文章, 《Health-care AI is here. We don’t know if it actually helps patients.》大脑立刻浮现一个问题:医生真的会被AI医疗取代吗?

事实上,在美国, 很多医院引进了AI医疗。这些AI工具被用于记录患者病情, 快速浏览病例并标记病人, 甚至帮助医生诊断检测结果。这无疑大大提高了医生的诊疗效率,让医生专注在病人的病情和治疗方案上”medics are “overjoyed” by the technology—it allows them to focus all their attention on their patients during appointments”.
🧰But even a tool that is “accurate” won’t necessarily improve health outcomes.
“Does using them actually translate into better health outcomes for patients?“ 使用AI是否真的能为患者带来更好的健康结果？ 这是计算机科学家Jenna Wiens和多伦多大学的Anna Goldenberg 在Nature Medicine期刊上提出的观点。65%的美国医院使用AI 工具协助诊疗,但是只有三分之二的验证了其精确性,甚至更少矫正偏差。AI 是否真的影响诊疗结果?因不同医院或医疗部门而异, 也因医生的医学水平和经验而异。

我同意文章最后 Wiens的观点: “I have to believe that in the future it’s not all AI or no AI,” “It’s somewhere in between.” 然而在看见之前我更愿意选择相信,我相信人的智慧会让未来充满无限可能。只要不断探索,尽管山高路远,人类终将看见。
