A Day to remember
Last Sunday, the weather was bright and sunny, so I decided to hike the mountain with my best friend Tom.上周日天气晴朗明媚，于是我决定和好朋友汤姆一起去爬山远足。We felt very relaxed and we expected to have a great time all day.我们心情十分放松，原本期待一整天都玩得开心。
When we walked halfway up the mountain, the weather started to change right now.当我们爬到半山腰时，此刻天气突然开始变化。The sky turned gray and dark, and the wind began to blow strongly.天空变得昏暗阴沉，大风开始猛烈地吹。Suddenly, it started to rain hard. It was a heavy summer rain.突然，天开始下起大雨，是夏天典型的暴雨。We had no time to go back home, so we quickly ran to a small shelter nearby.我们来不及回家，于是迅速跑到了附近的一个小避雨棚里。At that moment, my mother called me and asked me to call her back as soon as the rain stopped.就在那时，妈妈给我打电话，让我雨一停就给她回电话。
To our surprise, we found a tiny and cute cat staying quietly in the shelter too.令我们惊喜的是，我们发现一只小巧可爱的小猫也安静地待在雨棚里。We shared our snacks with it and played with it gently.我们把零食分给它，还温柔地和它玩耍。
We did not feel bored at all even though it was raining outside.虽然外面下着雨，我们却一点也不觉得无聊。Gradually, the wind faded away and the heavy rain stopped.风渐渐变小，大雨也慢慢停了下来。Eventually, the sun came out again and a beautiful rainbow appeared in the sky.最终太阳重新出来，天空中出现了一道美丽的彩虹。
