命题解读
应用文是英语中的必考文体，在每年的高考阅读理解中通常出现在A篇位置。应用文一般包括广告、启
事、海报、守则、公告、指南、个人简历、备忘录、书信、日记、便条、报告、书报中的简短文章等。目的都
是向读者传输信息，直截了当。
从选材上看：此类阅读理解信息量大，形式灵活，用极少的篇幅表达极大的信息。
从内容上看：其内容实用、多样并生活化。其中常出现人名、地名、专有名词，且祈使句、省略句较多。
从结构上看：应用文常用醒目的标题，清晰的条例，粗体字等使文章结构更鲜明。

应用文的类型常常不以单一形式出现，混合两种特色来命题。
解题策略
应用文多以事实细节为主，答题适合运用跳读、寻读的方法。题--文--题 可以高效快速的解题。具体参考以下
答题策略：
一 审题干读标题、小标题和试题，了解试题考点。明确目的，快速捕捉关键词。
二 文中锁定关键词
根据题干关键词迅速回到文中定位答题范围。一般采用“题文同序法”去文中对号入座。同时要注意问题
与原文相同或同义替换等细节。（但分析近三年高考应用文真题，会发现常有一道题不一定题文同序）
三 比对细节
对比选项，找出答案，必要时进行词义转换和合理推断。
注意：在遇到生词的时候，如果与题目无关，可以直接略过。如果涉及题目，可以根据语境，构词法和分解句
式等猜测词义。

Peer ( 同伴 ) Assisted Study Sessions (PASS) is a peer-facilitated learning programme available to students
enrolled ( 注册 ) in most core units of study in our business school.
PASS involves weekly sessions where you work in groups to tackle specially prepared problem sets, based around
a unit of study you’re enrolled in.
PASS doesn’t re-teach or deliver new content. It’s an opportunity to deepen your understanding of the key points
from lecture materials while you are applying your skills to solve problems.
You work interactively with your peers. As a peer group, you decide what is covered in each session. That way,
PASS directly responds to your needs and feedback.
Registration in Term 2 will open at 9 am, 21 September 2022.Waiting lists
If a session is full, you can register for the waiting list. We will email you if a place becomes available or if a new
session is to be held.
When you are placed on a waiting list, we will email you a number which tells you where you are on the list. If
you are close to the front of the list, you have a good chance of gaining a place in the programme in the near future.
Deregistering
If you miss two PASS sessions in a row, you will be deregistered and your place will be given to someone on the
waiting list. Make sure you fill in the attendance sheet at each session to record your attendance.
You’ll be informed by email if you are being deregistered as a result of missing sessions. If you believe you have
received the email in error, email the PASS office at passoffice@umbs. edu..

We offer scholarships to low-income schools and youth organizations, subject to availability. Participation in a
post-visit survey is required.
Scholarships are for Group Play admission fees and/or transportation. Transportation invoices (发票) must be

Group Size

Late Work
