I am writing to express my opposition to the “Winter Sports into
School” activity.
Introducing winter sports in a school setting raises significant safety
concerns. Firstly, the slippery nature of ice increases the risk of injuries,
threatening the safety of students. Additionally, not all students have the
necessary equipment to participate in icy sports. Moreover, such activities could
redirect valuable resources away from more inclusive and universally enjoyed
sports.
To sum up, “Winter Sports Into School” may create a setting of
unnecessary risk and exclusion. Instead, to promote a healthy and inclusive
environment, we could organize more regular exercises on campus.
