Last month, I participated in the practice project “My First Experience in
Career” organized by the school. It involved positions in different fields and I
chose to be a journalist.
My experience took place in the local newspaper agency. Guided by a
professional, I got involved in the whole process of making a journalist. Not
only did I join in conducting the street interviews and searching for
background information, I also played a part in writing and polishing stories
and writing headlines. Seeing my article carried in the next day’s newspaper,
I felt my heart swelling with a sense of pride and achievement.
The rewarding experience gave me a clear idea of what it takes to be a
qualified journalist and inspired me to strive to pursue my dream career.
