I'm happy to hear that you're visiting Beijing and I'd love to be your guide for your city walk. Let's meet at the west gate of the Summer Palace at 9:00 a.m. this Saturday.

I have a wonderful autumn plan for us. First, we will visit the Summer Palace. The lake and the hills look especially beautiful with golden and red leaves. Then, we can take a bus to the Beijing Botanical Garden. Many flowers are still in bloom, and the maple leaves there are fantastic. For lunch, I will take you to a traditional restaurant to try Beijing Copper Hotpot. It's delicious and perfect for a cool day. In the afternoon, we can walk through some old hutongs to experience the real life of Beijing.

Autumn in Beijing is lovely but the weather can change quickly. I advise you to wear comfortable shoes and bring a jacket. Don't forget your camera to capture the beautiful scenery!

61. 体育测试的收获

The recent Grade 8 PE test is very important, so I made lots of preparations for it.

First, I started regular exercise two months before the test. I ran for 20 minutes every day after school to improve my endurance. I also practiced the standing long jump in the park every weekend. Second, I paid more attention to my diet. I ate more vegetables and fruit and less junk food. These habits even helped me lose a little weight and feel healthier.

Through this PE test, I gained a lot. I not only got better scores but also learned the importance of keeping practicing. Now I understand that if we want to achieve our goals, we must work hard in advance. More importantly, I feel more confident to face challenges in the future. I will continue to exercise because it makes me strong both in body and mind.
