初中英语常见变形规则

一、名词变复数

规则变化

1.一般情况 加 -s  book → books

2.以s, x, sh, ch结尾加-es   

bus→buses, box→ boxes, watch → watches

3.辅音 + y 结尾 变 y 为 i，加 -es   baby → babies

4.f / fe 结尾 多数变 f/fe 为 v，加 -es

 leaf → leaves, knife → knives

5.o 结尾 有生命加 -es，无生命加 -s 

tomato → tomatoes, photo → photos

f/fe 变 v 加 -es 的常考词（含 leaf）：

leaf→leaves, knife→knives, wife→wives, thief→thieves, wolf→wolves, shelf→shelves, half→halves, life→lives

二、形容词变副词

1.一般情况 加 -ly     quick → quickly

2.辅音 + y 结尾 变 y 为 i，加 -ly    easy → easily

3.-le 结尾 去 e 加 -y     possible → possibly

4.-ic 结尾 加 -ally    scientific → scientifically（public→publicly 例外）

与形容词同形 不变 fast, hard, late, early, daily

三、比较级 & 最高级

1.一般单音节 -er -est   tall→taller→tallest

2.以 e 结尾 -r -st      late→later→latest

3.重读闭音节（辅元辅）结尾， 双写末尾字母加 -er/-est   big→bigger→biggest 

4.辅音 + y结尾， 变 y 为 i，  加 -er/-est happy→happier→happiest 

5.多音节 / 多数双音节    more +adj.原级 the most +adj. 原级           beautiful→more beautiful→most beautiful

不规则变化

good / well better best      bad / ill worse worst

many / much more most     little less least

far farther / further farthest / furthest   old older / elder oldest / eldest

四、动词变形

1. 过去式 & 过去分词（-ed 规则）

①一般情况 加 -ed         work → worked

②以 e 结尾 ，加 -d        live → lived

③辅音 + y 结尾， 变 y 为 i，加 -ed     study → studied

④重读闭音节（辅元辅）结尾， 双写末尾字母加 -ed   stop → stopped

2. 现在分词（-ing 规则）

①一般情况 加 -ing     do → doing

②以不发音 e 结尾 去 e 加 -ing     write → writing

③以 ie 结尾 变 ie 为 y，加 -ing     die → dying

④重读闭音节（辅元辅）结尾， 双写末尾字母加 -ing    begin → beginning

3. 初中常见不规则动词（部分）

go went gone     eat ate eaten     see saw seen   do did done

have had had     make made made  buy bought bought

think thought thought   sing sang sung    swim swam swum

write wrote written    drive drove drive   put put put   cut cut cut

read  read /red/  read /red/

以 -ly 结尾但为形容词的词：friendly（友好的）lovely（可爱的）

silly（愚蠢的）lonely（孤独的）lively（活泼的）ugly（丑陋的）

likely（可能的）costly（昂贵的）deadly（致命的）elderly（年长的）

daily（每日的，注意这个词也可作副词）weekly（每周的，也可作副词）

monthly（每月的，也可作副词）yearly（每年的，也可作副词）
