Since the day Hudson, affectionately called "Huddy" by our family, came into my world, he has been teaching me what love truly means. As his mother, I have watched this little boy — with his bright eyes and endless curiosity — light up every corner of our lives.

From his earliest days, he never looked at people with judgment or hesitation; to Huddy, everyone is a potential friend deserving of love. I often find myself telling friends and neighbours to "Live like Huddy" because he simply doesn't see the differences that often separate adults. One cool autumn morning, Huddy and I made a last-minute decision to stop at a comfortable diner near our home for breakfast. The warm smell of coffee and pancakes filled the air as we stepped inside. As we sat at table, I expected Huddy to focus immediately on his food. However, his shaarp, curious eyes were scanning the room, observing the people around us.

His eyes eventually fixed on a senior man sitting alone at a corner table. The elderly gentleman was eating slowly, his head bowed slightly, looking lonely against the backdrop of the lively restaurant. Huddy watched him for a long moment, his small brow furrowing(皱眉)in concern.

"Mommy," he whispered, leaning closer to me. "Why is that grandpa sitting all by himself? Where are his children?" I gently explained that the man's children had likely grown up, moved away, and were perhaps busy with their own lives. But this logical explanation did not sit well with my three-year-old. The concept of someone eating alone felt fundamentally wrong to him. He looked from his own plate to the lonely man, and I could see the wheels turning in his mind. To Huddy, a meal was meant to be shared, and company was just as important as the food itself.
