M: That makes sense. Do you need me to help with the sticking work?
W: Perfect! Besides, we need plenty of tables and bookshelves. Tom, could you organize that?
M: No, Jack will take care of that. What about the drinking water for visitors? We’d better not let Mike do it — he
might buy the out-of-date ones! But he can help carry the donated books.
W: Got it. How about the music?
M: Why not ask Emma? She plays the guitar really well. She can perform some soft music while people are
choosing books.
W: Sounds great! Oh, but remember, we have no money to pay anyone. Is there anything else we need to prepare?
M: Who will be responsible for writing the introduction to the book groups?
W: I’ll ask Sophia to do that. She is good at writing and knows a lot about different book types.
M: Alright. That covers everything.

【答案】17.A 18.B 19.B 20.C
【原文】Having been raised in the age of modern technology as a teenager, I am really happy with the future of
new technology. My high school classmates understand how to use computers, phones and apps. But I have
relatives over the age of 60 who get confused. The difference is that my friends and I have used mobile phones for
six years. Now we are 15 years old. Instead of worrying, let’s use technology for good purposes. In my opinion,
technology can improve everyone’s lives. Firstly. Technology can improve global education. This is the first
industry I’d like to change. Luckily, we live in areas with great schools. But many children worldwide don’t.  We
already share movies and music on the Internet. We can share lessons and courses without travelling too. What’s
more, everyone should be able to use technology. Some students cannot afford these products. So I would try my
best to make technology products cheaper in the future. With better technology and education. We can deal with
global problems together. Let’s not fear technology. Let’s use it for good causes like improving the environment or
reducing hunger worldwide.
