Passage 12: Volunteering at an Old People’s Home

During the winter vacation, I joined a volunteer group to help at an old people’s home. I was a little ________（紧张的） at first because I didn’t know how to communicate with the elderly. But when I met Grandma Wang, her kind smile ________（消除） my worries.
