2学情分析
本单元主要围绕“食物制作”这一话题展开,呈现了食物制作的动词及短语,在此过程中让学
生学会食物制作顺序的祈使句以及灵活运用How many… / How much….;随着活动深入,让学
生了解西方感恩节大餐所吃的传统食物——火鸡的制作,这样引发学生联想中国节日及家乡
的风味小吃,激发了学生对家乡的热爱之情,同时又体验到中西饮食文化的差异。

综合运用本单元的重点词汇;能正确区分可数名词和不可数名词并熟练运用句型how many,
how much;能正确描述制作步骤并依照指示语完成步骤;能掌握并正确使用祈使句。熟练描述

(2)Revise the use of how many, how much.
(3)Revise the use of a piece of … two spoons of …
(完成练习,由学生总结归纳,将名词分为可数名词和不可数名词;复习归纳 how

Revise the names of the traditional food.
(1)Ask some students to say the traditional food that people eat on special
holidays in China and in western countries in English.
(2)Show some pictures of traditional food.
2. Talk about the traditional food Americans eat on
Thanksgiving Day and revise the article in 2b. Give the students enough time to
read the article by themselves.
3. Group work(1)Ask the students to describe the process in groups, “How do you make turkey
for Thanksgiving dinner?” using Adverbs of sequence first, next, then, finally and
Imperatives.
(2) Ask some groups to act.

Step 5 Task 4 Make a recipe for Greatest chefs
Watch a video.

Let the students discuss in groups of four and make a decision, “What kind of food
are you going to make?”
3. Ask the students to make a list of the food they want to buy and the amount
they need, fill in the chart and then write a composition by themselves.
4. Let the students share in groups and choose the best recipe.
5. Ask some students to read the compositions.
