My First Library Visit

Last Saturday, I visited the library for the first time.

It was a big building with many windows.

When I walked inside, I was amazed.

There were thousands of books everywhere.

The librarian was very kind and helpful.

She showed me where to find storybooks.

I saw books about animals, space, and history.

My eyes were wide with excitement.

I carefully picked three books to take home.

One was about a brave knight.

Another was about dinosaurs that lived long ago.

The third book had many beautiful pictures.

The librarian taught me how to borrow books.

I got my own library card that day.

I felt like a grown-up with my card.

Now I can visit the library every week.

I promise to take good care of the books.

Reading books from the library is free and fun.
