day and found that her body couldn’t move. She was sent to the hospital and in doctors’ opinion, she had no hope
of getting well.
Then, the son left his job in the city, and brought his mother back to the country. He worked there as a farmer
and stayed beside his mother day and night, keeping massaging (按摩) her arms and legs.
Because of her son’s care, the mother decided to pick herself up. So she kept trying and trying to move her
fingers. And one day about six months later, she succeeded!
Her son’s care and love helped her to get well little by little. During the next two years, she could even move
her body and not long after that, she could take her first step! And after five years, she was even able to dance
with the children of the village, and now she has fully recovered (康复) and teaches the children to dance in a
