Move the hour hand and the minute hand of the clock. Ask and

Then some students move the hands of the clock and practice the
sentence structures.

Set the time at 6:30 on the clock model.
T: What time is it?

2. Teach the phrase “go to school”.

Ss: It’s 7:30 a.m.
T: Yes! It’s time to go to school for Mike.

3. Teach the phrase “go home”.

Ss: No, he doesn’t.
T: Why?
Ss: Because it’s 4:00 p.m.
T: Yes! It’s 4:00 p.m. It’s time to go home for Mike.

4. Teach the phrase “go to bed”.

T: Why?
Ss: Because it’s 9:00 p.m.
T: Yes! It’s 9:00 p.m. It’s time to go to bed for Mike.
