Show some pictures to the Ss, then ask them the following
questions:
Have you ever heard of the story of Robinson Crusoe?
What do you think of it ?
Introduce the background knowledge of the story of Robinson
Crusoe.
Ask the Ss to watch Robinson Crusoe. Then answer the
following questions.
1.What's this video about?
2.Who's the main character?
3.Can you imagine his life on the island? What could he do to
protect himself?

Ask the Ss to take a test – How much do you know about
Robinson Crusoe?
1. Robinson Crusoe ( 鲁滨逊漂流记 ) is a western classic.
2. It is written by Danie l Defo e .
3. It mainly tells about his life on the island (a piece of land in
the middle of the sea).
4. He used guns to shoot birds for food and knive s to cut things.
5. Then one day, he found some mark s of another man's feet on
the sand. Something has changed from that day on.

Read the passage based on Robinson Crusoe. Explain the key
