教学目标
一:知识目标: 形容词和副词的比较级变化规则
比较连词than 的用法
二:能力目标: 能用英语谈论,描述《灰姑娘》人物特征,对人物进行比较
三:情感目标: 能从灰姑娘身上学到坚强,乐观,勤劳和善良的优秀品质
2学情分析
八(4)班绝大部分学生对英语学习有较浓厚的兴趣和热情,表现欲强烈,模仿和记
忆能力较好,并且一些学生口语表达能力较好,基本具备小组合作学习的能力和思维表达的能
力。因此,我把全班31位同学分成了6个学习小组,以便于他们能够彼此相互学习和交流合作。

2、比较连词than的用法

4.1.1教学活动
活动1【导入】Step1： greetings and warming up
T: Good morning ,boys and girls.
S: Good morning,Mrs Wang.
T: Do you like music?
S: Yes!
T: Let’s enjoy a song and you can sing along with it.
设计意图:用深受学生喜爱的2015真人版电影Cinderella的插曲Lavender Blue
热身,去激发学生的学习欲望和好奇心,同时为下一环节做铺垫。活动2【导入】Step2：Lead in
T:Who is the girl in the movie?
S: Cinderella!
T: Do you like Cinderella?
S: Yes!
T: (Why?) What do you think of her?
S1: She is kind.
S2: She is beautiful.
S3: She is hard-working/brave/tall/thin/outgoing...
She can sing and dance very well...
设计意图:从学生熟悉又喜爱的Cinderella入手,进行形容词和副词头脑风暴,让
学生轻松又容易地说出Cinderella的外在特征和内在品质,形容词和副词一展
眼前。同时又为学习形容词和副词比较级做好原级准备。
活动3【练习】Step3：Speaking practice (express your idea)

设计意图:根据同学们对Cinderella做出的和老师所给的线索形容词对
Cinderella做一个整体概述,由第二步的单句自然过渡到小片段。其目的是锻炼
学生的英语口头表达能力和酝酿本节课的德育教育。
活动4【讲授】Step4：Compare
T:We all like Cinderella. Do you want to know more about her?
S: Yes!
T: OK, Let’s look at some pictures ...
The glass shoes are newer than the cloth shoes.
Stepsister’s room is bigger than Cinderella’s room.
Cinderella’s step mother seems to be happier than Cinderella now.
The blue dress is more beautiful than the pink dress.
设计意图:通过比较电影里的图片,学生很容易就能理解领会形容词和副词比
较级所表达的含义和变化规则,以及比较连词than的用法。这是本节课的重点。
活动5【讲授】Step5：Summarize the rules of comparative forms

1、一般在原级词尾加-er
long--longer old--older
short--shorter small--smaller
young--younger new--newer
2、以不发音的 e 结 尾 加 -r
late--later
3、以重读闭音节结尾且末尾只有一个辅音字母,应先双写该字母,再加-er
big--bigger
thin--thinner
4、以辅音字母加y结尾的,先变y为i,再加-er
happy--happier
heavy--heavier
early--earlier
5、多音节词在原级前加more
beautiful-----more beautiful
设计意图:要求学生写出每一栏形容词的比较级形式,然后自己试着总结每一
栏形容词比较级的变化规则。这是对上一环节的检验和提升,也是本节课的难
点。活动6【活动】Step6：Activity①

设计意图:借助Cinderella电影里的情节为形容词找“家”,其目的是通过活动
形式考查学生对比较级变化规则的掌握情况。
活动7【活动】Step7：Activity②
Activity②---tell us your advantages
T: If you have a chance to act the movie Cinderella, would you like to come?
For boys, you can be the prince. For girls, you can be Cinderella.
Let’s have a PK and choose the best prince and the best Cinderella.
For example, I’d like to be the prince because I’m stronger and smarter than other
boys. I want to be Cinderella
because I’m friendlier and more outgoing than other girls.
设计意图:一方面,让学生把目标语言应用到自己的实际生活中,加深知识印象;
另一方面,给学生创造机会,发现自我优势,培养自信,促进同学间相互了解。活动8【练习】Step8：Listening practice.
T: You know Cinderella and the prince had a big wedding party and they lived hap
pily together. So three pairs of twins are
preparing for the party. They are Tina & Tara, Peter & Paul, Tom & Sam. Listen and
number the pairs in the picture【1-3】.
设计意图:由Cinderella故事情节自然过渡到书本听力,学生会比较感兴趣。
活动9【练习】Step9：Writing practice
T:We like Cinderella. She is so kind. She is very friendly. I believe we can learn a lot
from her. So work in groups and share your
feelings. Then write them down and show them.
设计意图:希望学生能从Cinderella身上学到坚强,勇敢,乐观的品质,从而反省
自己,制定目标,尽力用比较级的句子写出来,有助于学生形成正确的人生观和
价值观。这是本节课的德育升华。
