【解析 2 】 hea r 的用法
hear 意为“听见”，强调听的结果。
【结构】： hear sb. do sth 听见某人做某事；hear sb. doing sth 听见某人正在做某事
We can often hear some children play on the playground.
hear也有“听说”之意，这时后接that引导的宾语从句。
①hear about意为“听说”，相当于hear of，后面接词或短语。

②hear from意为“收到.......的来信；有.......的消息”，=get/receive a letter from.

三、单元写作
【话题分析】
本单元以＂谈论过去正在发生的事情＂为话题，讲述了大事件发生时人们正在进行的各
种活动。具体到书面表达中，要求同学们会对过去正在发生的事情进行描述，在写这类
短文时，要运用相应的过去时态，如一般过去时或过去进行时等。在写作时要注意以下
几点：
①明确中心思想，无论是看图写作，还是情景描写，都要围绕文章中心展开；
②要注意记叙文的几个要素，即把时间、地点、人物、事件、起因、经过、结果等交代
清楚；
③要合理安排好写作的顺序；
④叙述事件时语言简洁，把文章写得生动、详实。【典型例题】

someone happy＂，请你写一篇英文稿件，内容需包括以下要点：

（二）用when与while连接两个句子
when是一个从属连词，它引导的是一个时间状语从句，when后通常用短暂性动词；
while后通常用持续性动词，因此它所引导的状语从句中，谓语动词常用进行时态。

People often remember what they were doing when they heard the news of important news in
history.An important event that I remember well was that the great man Yuan Longping passed away
on May22,2021.
When I heard the news,I was reading books while my parents were making lunch. We were
completely shocked and thought it was unbelievable.Later, we saw the report on the Internet. All of
us felt very sad and finished the rest of lunch in silence. On hearing the news, hundreds of people
came to the hospital in Changsha to see him off and shouted out words such as“Grandpa Yuan, have
a good journey.”
As we all know ,Yuan Longping spend all his life doing research on rice. He is such a great hero that
