Let students change the verbs into their past forms and past participles and tell the rules. 2. Let students read the sentences in Grammar Focus carefully and find out the different usages between “already” and “yet”. 3. Check the answers. 4. Talk about the teacher’s nickname for WeChat to lead to the new word: French. 5. Show students some pictures of books and ask: have you read…? Lead students to answer with: Yes, I have./ No, I haven’t. And teach the new words: fiction, science fiction, technology. (课前以自主学习的形式复习动词的过去式并过渡到过去分词的学习,同时复 习句型Have you done…? Tell students these sentences are used with Present Prefect tense. 2. Help students understand the meaning and usage of Present Perfect tense by showing them pictures, sentences and a diagram. And then have students observe the sentences and get the structure of Present Perfect tense: has +P.P. Ask students when to use “has” so as to get the structure: has (三单) + P.P. After that, help students sum up the structure of Present Perfect tense: have/has + P.P. 3. Show two sentences and change them into Yes-no Questions. Get students to watch the change of the sentence structures and tell the rule of changing a sentence into a Yes-no Question. And then change the sentences into negative ones and have students watch the change of the sentence structures and tell the rule of changing a sentence into a negative one.
