Difficult points: Try to improve the students' reading and speaking level 4教学过程 4.1 第一学时 4.1.1教学活动 活动1【导入】Warming up Get the students to enjoy a song named "Miss my hometown" 活动2【导入】Presentation 1,Present the topic of the lesson by showing five pictures. 2.Using a question "Why millions of Chinese leave the countryside every year?" to present homesickness.3.Guide the students to watch a video, which shows how much an old man who lives abroad with his daughter misses his hometown . 活动3【活动】Pre－reading 1.Beforing reading, get the students to guess the answers to three questions. 2.Get the students to guess the main idea of the passage by just looking at the title of the passage. And what can they know from the two pictures in the passage . 活动4【测试】Fast－reading 1. Get the students to read the passage quickly and then match the main ideas of each paragraph. 2.Get the students to find out what hometown feeling each paragraph has. 活动5【活动】Careful－reading 1.Play the tape for the students to listen ,while listening, they can look at their books. 2.Get the students to read Paragraph 1 loudly, and then do some exercises.
