Encourage Ss to help the disabled people. 2.To thank the person who helps you. 2学情分析 八年级的学生已经具备了一定的阅读能力。少数学生能够针对习题的要求有目的的去阅读 短文。但是他们缺少正式的阅读策略的指导与技能的训练。在阅读时,学生有时漫无目的的浏 览,浪费时间在无用的信息上,丢了西瓜捡芝麻。有时还会出现辨别不清词汇含义的问题。希 望通过这节课,让学生初步掌握利用词性来理解词汇的方法。 3重点难点 •重点: •1.掌握本节课中重点词汇:set up, make a difference, disabled, train, imagine等。 •2.动词短语和不定式在文段中的结构及表述。 •难点 •1. 通过词性判段及理解词义,帮助学生更深层次的理解文章。 4教学过程 4.1 第一学时 4.1.1教学活动 活动1【导入】新课导入 Step I lead-inWatch a video and lead in the lesson. 活动2【讲授】新课导学 Step II. Who can help the disabled out? A special trained dog. What can the dog do? Where can we get such a clever dog? From Animal Helpers. What’s ”Animal Helpers”? Animal Helpers is a group.This group was set up to help disabled people . This group makes a difference to the life of disabled people. 活动3【活动】听力&速读 Step III Activity 1.listening Listen to the tape and finish 2d. Activity 2 Fast-reading ①Reading skill 1 :Find the key sentence to help Ss find the main idea.Usually the first sentence or the last sentence of a passage or a paragraph is the key sentence(重点句). You don’t need to read the whole passage. ② Read the passage, and match each paragraph with the main idea. ③ Read the passage again, mark T or F. 活动4【活动】细读 Activity 2. Careful reading ① Study the part of speech Knowing what part of speech a word is (noun, verb, preposition, etc.)can help you understand the word’s meaning. ② Finish 2c ③ Read the passage carefully, and answer the questions 1.Who wrote the letter to Miss Li?
