教学目标
《英语课程标准》指出: 激发和培养学生学习英语的兴趣,使学生树立自信心,养成
良好的英语学习习惯和形成有效的学习策略, 发展学生自主学习的能力和合作精神是中学英
语教学的基本任务,在认真分析教材的基础上, 我又结合了学生的实际,将本课时的目标确定
如下:
Knowledge Objective:
1. Keep learning to tell a fairy tale, memorize new words,phrases and expressions.
2. Find out the text type and learn some language features of the play.
Ability Objective:
1. Improve students’ reading, comprehension and expression abilities.
2. To understand the characteristics of drama and role, then play the role.
Moral Objective:
Learn from fairy tales to become a brave and wise person. Let the students know they must have
perseverance and kindness in life.
2学情分析
学生是学习的主体,对学生情况的分析是教学工作的关键环节。八年级学生的特
点: 八年级学生经过一年多系统的英语学习和讲学稿的使用,具备了一定的听说基础,正逐步
向读、写过渡,通过一年多新课程理念的熏陶和实践,有了自主学习、初步自主合作,分析归纳
以及课堂展示的能力。学生们也正处于知识积累,前后知识衔接,培养良好的学习习惯的关键
时期。大部分学生对英语有一定兴趣,但由于知识的安排由浅入深,有少数学生对这门学科产
生了厌恶心理,消除学生厌学情绪,激发学习兴趣至关重要。而本单元正是一个引发学生兴趣
的契机,利用学生耳熟能详的故事, 把学生带入精彩的童话世界。 基于以上学情,我制定了以
下学法:
1. 抓住用英语交际的机会,深刻感知、积极体验、大胆实践。
2. 积极参与,善于合作,培养团队合作意识。
3. 依据:新课程标准提出的感知---体验---实践---参与---合作, 以及形成性评价。
3重点难点
Teaching key points:
1. Key words: stepmother, wife, husband, whole, shine, bright, ground, lead, voice, brave2. Phrases: as soon as, be lost, lead sb to, so that, be made of
3. Sentences: (1) Unless I do, we’ll be lost.
(2) I’m dropping white stones along the way.
(3) It’s leading us to that wonderful house made of bread, cake and candy.
Teaching difficult points:
1.Understanding the essentials of the story and expressions in the play.
2.Teaching Methods:
3.Listening, reading, discussion, retelling and role-play.

4.1.1教学活动
活动1【导入】Ⅰ. Warm-up
1. Check the new words in the handouts.
2. Check the new phrases in the handouts.
3. Check the translation of sentences in the handouts.
(Each group chooses one or four students to be hosts, they lead other students
check the answers of these three parts and help students understand the key
points.)
活动2【讲授】Ⅱ. Lead-in
1. Greet the Ss as usual.
2.Show some pictures about fairy stories and ask:
(1)Do you know the name of these fairy tales?
(2)What is a fairy tale?3. Play the video about the beginning of the story “Hansel and Gretel”
活动3【活动】Ⅲ. Talk and do exercise.
1. Fast reading.
(1)Before reading: Read the passage and find out the text type.
(2)While reading: Do 2c. Match each description below with the correct scenes.
2. Do listening exercise.
Listening to each scene of the story and answer the questions.
3. Role-play the scenes.
(1) Play the recording of the play, let students match the roles with the voice featu
res.
(2)Let students read the scene, try to perform by imitating the pronunciation and
intonation.
(3)Choose some students to act a wife, a husband, Hansel, Gretel, a bird, a reporte
r, an old witch.
(4) Students perform the play.
4. Enjoy the ending of this story and discuss the inner meaning of the story.
活动4【讲授】Ⅴ. Summary.
Let students know:
It reminds us that we could be calm to face the difficulties and overcome them
with our wisdom and courage.
活动5【练习】Ⅵ. Do exercises.Students do exercises in the handouts and check the answers.
活动6【作业】Ⅵ. Homework.
Write a summary of the story in your notebooks which you’ve talked about in the
class and retell the story.
