教学目标 Teaching aim: After this class, the students are able to 1. tell others some information about sloth, snail, Great white shark and bald eagle, 2. share with others what they think of animal world, 3. understand the animal diversity, 4. improve their oral expression ability. 2学情分析 一、教学内容分析: 第五单元以谈论各种动物为话题。课文中主要介绍了动物的名称及描述各种动物的形容词。 为了适应学生的程度,我针对一直开展的主题阅读活动,找到几篇有代表性的介绍动物的文章, 补充的文章主要有以下几个特点:一是从纵向看,四类动物属于不同种类,他们是分别属于脊 索动物门下的鸟纲,鱼纲和哺乳纲,还有一个属于软体动物,二是四个文段在语言简练的前提 之下,横向对比都能找到动物在外貌,食物,栖息地等方面知识。所以在教学中既能够有目的的 拓展学生关于动物方面的知识,也能够作为泛读课材料在一节课内汇总使用。使学生在基于 教材话题下,拓展动物世界的丰富多彩的知识。了解动物的多样性。为培养学生的英语核心素 养中的思维品质奠定基础,而且能够进一步提升学生语言表达能力。 二、学情分析: 我所教的学生基本英语程度中等偏上,学习热情高。在本单元前三课时已经学过一些关于动 物的名词及描述性形容词的相关知识,但是由于学生在小学已经接触过大部分本单元出现的 动物,单纯教授课本知识会让学生有枯燥的感觉,所以我给学生有计划地拓展动物的相关知识, 本节课是本单元的第四课时,有承上启下的功能。在本节课所学知识可以为下节写作课做铺 垫,让学生能够言之有物。同时给学生加强英语口头表达训练。 3重点难点 Understand the animal diversity, Improve their oral expression ability. 4教学过程 4.1 第一学时 4.1.1教学目标 Teaching aim:After this class, the students are able to 1. tell others some information about sloth, snail, Great white shark and bald eagle, 2. share with others what they think of animal world, 3. understand the animal diversity, 4. improve their oral expression ability. 4.1.2学时重点 Understand the animal diversity, Improve their oral expression ability. 4.1.3学时难点 Understand the animal diversity. 4.1.4教学活动 活动1【导入】Zootopia动物车管所视频 zootopia 动物车管所视频,让学生直观感受树懒形象。 活动2【活动】More things about sloth Read passage one once more, find the living place, appearance and food knowledge about sloth. 重读文章,总结关于树懒的基本知识。 活动3【活动】Learn more things about other three kinds of anima Where do these four kinds of animals live? Write their names on the map.(Sloth-Sl, Great white shark-GWS, Snail-Sn, Bald eagle-BE) 重读文章,在地图上找出关于其余三种动物居住地点。 活动4【练习】Apparance and food Find the appearance and food knowledge about the other three animals Read and think about the sleeping post of the animals. 重读文章,汇总信息 活动5【练习】Discussion Discuss in groups: Why do they eat different kinds of food?
