教学目标
1、掌握本课时重点单词、短语及句型。
2、能够运用重点句型,围绕“上一周周末活动”进行交际。
3、引导学生对英语的好奇与探求心理,克服学习过程中的畏难情绪,勇于追求对学习的自我
完善和自我欣赏。
2学情分析
本单元的语言训练重点是互相询问如何度过周末,并对已过上一周的周末进行。Section A 主
要是听读说和基础语言运用,为目标句型提供分步示例和指导性练习。本课时要求对学生进
行听的训练又要大胆的用英语进行交流,七年级的同学较为天真活跃,所以可以调动学生的积
极性,发挥学生的主体作用,但因有些学生不敢大胆地表现自己,对英语课堂存在畏惧心理,所
以形成了两级分化。
3重点难点
1、重点单词:sheep; as; natural; butterfly; visitor; tired; stay.
2、重点词组:study for the test; work as; living habits; have a good weekend; kind of; stay up late.
3、重点句型:(1). I worked as a guide at the Natural History Museum.
(2). How interesting!
(3) They have a butterfly house with over 200 kinds of butterflies!
(4) I told the visitors about them and their living habits.
(5) ......but I'm kind of tired now.
(6) I stayed up late to watch the sccer game.

活动2【讲授】Presentation
Show a boy, ask “What did he do last weekend?” S: “He talked on the phone.”
Another two, and ask the same,
Show a girl, ask: What did she do last weekend? She played the guitar.(Another
two)
Show two people, ask: What did they do last weekend? They had a party.
Students practice in pairs: What did he/she/they do last weekend? He/She/They
did … .

1. Listen to 2a on P54 ,and underline the words you hear.
2.Listen again and write"C" for Carol, "B" for Ben or "E" for Emma next to the
statements above.

1. Practice the conversation on P54. You can use the information in the box.
2. Make a conversation by yourself.
