And T encourages Ss to express their feelings. ------T invites a boy and a girl to come to the front to fold clothes. Also, T encourages Ss to express their opinions on if children should do chores at home. 活动2【讲授】第一学时Step 2: First Reading -------T explains how to do skimming ------- Ss skim the letters and catch the two parents’ attitudes. ------- T asks Ss to analyze the structure of the two letters. Step 3: Second Reading ------Ss read the letters together to the text audio loudly. ------ Ss find more details to fill in the chart and then check it. Step 4: Third reading ------Ss underline the phrases according to the Chinese meanings on handouts. -----T picks out useful sentence patterns about how to show one’s agreement or disagreement.
