中国和美国当然对世界有重大影响。但我们不应忘记，这个星球上有190多个国家，世界历史向来由各国共同书写，人类未来一直由各国人民共同创造。多元共生才是人类社会本来的面貌，多极共存才是国际格局应有的样子。回看历史，每一次大国争霸、阵营对抗，都给人类带来了灾难和痛苦。为此，中国绝不走国强必霸的老路，也不认同“大国共治”的逻辑。中国的宪法明确规定，坚持独立自主的对外政策，坚持和平发展道路。中国领导人多次在国际上强调，无论国际形势如何演变，无论自身发展到如何程度，中国都永不称霸、永不扩张。

There is no doubt that China and the United States have a significant impact on the world, but we should not forget there are more than 190 countries on our planet. World history has always been written by many countries together, and the future of humanity will be forged through the collective efforts of all nations. Diversity is the inherent nature of human society, and multipolarity is what the international landscape should look like. Back in history, every great-power rivalry and bloc confrontation invariably inflicted disaster and pain on humanity. Therefore, China will never take the beaten path of seeking hegemony as its strength grows, nor do we subscribe to the logic that the world can be run by major countries. China has inscribed in its Constitution that it follows an independent foreign policy and is committed to pursuing a path of peaceful development. Chinese leaders have often declared to the world that no matter how the international situation evolves and how strong China becomes, it will never seek hegemony or expansion.
