1. Greet the students and have a free talk about the daily life at school.
How do you feel about your school life?
What do you think is important for a good class?
2. Show some pictures of a messy and a tidy classroom, and ask students to
compare and express their feelings.
Step 2: Presentation (10 minutes)
1. Present the four goals on the PPT: learn better, have fun in school, get along well,
take care of the classroom.
Explain the meaning of each goal briefly.
Ask students to choose one goal that they hope the class can achieve and
discuss it in pairs.
2. Invite several pairs to share their choices and reasons.
Step 3: Brainstorming (10 minutes)
1. Divide the students into groups of four or five.
2. Each group is assigned the chosen goal and asked to brainstorm 5-10 rules to help
achieve it. Encourage them to think creatively and write down the rules.
3. Walk around the classroom to observe and provide necessary guidance and
language support.
Step 4: Group Sharing (8 minutes)
1. Each group takes turns to present their brainstormed rules to the class.
2. Other groups can give comments and suggestions.
Step 5: Poster Designing (10 minutes)
1. Provide materials such as colored pens and drawing paper to each group.
2. Instruct the groups to work together to design a poster for their rules. They should
think of interesting ways to present the rules, such as using pictures, symbols, or catchy
slogans.
3. Encourage students to be creative and show their teamwork.
Step 6: Presentation and Evaluation (2 minutes)
1. Each group presents their designed poster and explains the rules to the class.
2. The whole class votes for the best poster.
Step 7: Summary and Homework
1. Summarize the class by highlighting the importance of class rules and the
teamwork demonstrated.
2. Assign homework: Ask students to review the class rules at home and think about
how they can follow them in daily life.
