Step 2: Presentation (15 minutes) 1. Present the clocks showing the time in Chongqing, Nairobi, and New York. Ask students: What time is it in Chongqing? How about in Nairobi and New York? Guide students to answer: It's 8 p.m. in Chongqing. It's... in Nairobi. It's... in New York. 2. Show the text about the activities in these cities and ask students to read it silently. Then, fill in the times on the blackboard. 3. Explain some key words and phrases, such as "rush to", "enjoy", "gift", and "jog". 4. Play the recording of the text and let students listen and imitate. Step 3: Practice (10 minutes) 1. Group work: Divide students into groups of four.
