教学目标
1.借助Chen Jie在英国研学时所拍摄照片和所写日记,获取研学问卷上关于老师、课程和食
物三个维度的调查结果,并借助问卷呈现结构化知识。
2.基于结构化知识,以Chen Jie的视角运用Unit 1-3中的核心句型描述问卷中关于老师、课程
和食物三个维度的调查结果,分析、比较英国学校与中国学校在这些方面的异同。
3.运用核心语言填写关于自己学校的调查问卷,分享调查结果,增进对学校的了解和认同,
接纳多元的校园文化。
教学内容

教学过程
Ⅰ. Before doing the questionnaire
Our friend Chen Jie is visiting Willow Primary School in the UK.
Q: What do you want to know about the school?
My students have some questions and send them to Chen Jie.
T: Look at the questionnaire, what’re the questions? Can you read?
T: I think …
T: So can Chen Jie help us?
Ⅱ. While doing the questionnaire
1. Listen and answer
Look, Chen Jie takes 3 pictures for the questionnaire.
Look at this one, Chen Jie is talking with David.
Q1: Who are they? Let’s listen to the dialogue.
Q2: Who’s David’s Chinese teacher?
Q3: What’s she like?
So we can say: some teachers are kind but strict.
2. Read the schedule and answer
T: Wow, they have Chinese classes.基础教育精品课
Q1: Do they have Chinese every school day?
Let’s look at the schedule.
T: Oh, they only have one Chinese class. It’s very different from schools in China.
Q2: What do they have every school day?
T: Good. They have English and maths every school day.
Oh, it’s in the UK, not China.
3. Read the menu and answer
T: Here’s picture 3, what is it?
Look at the menu, you can see many hearts.
Q1: What’s their favorite food?
T: Wow, you read the picture very carefully. Ice cream and hamburgers are their
favorite food.
T: Do you love ice-cream and hamburgers?
I like them very much because ice cream is sweet and hamburgers are delicious.
4. Read the diary and complete the questionnaire
(1) Skimming: Read and match
T: We know some answers now, let’s get more from Chen Jie’s diary.
T: This is Chen Jie’s diary, there are four parts.
Q1: What does she write about?
Does she write about food? Classroom? Teachers and friends? School or class?
Please read and match. Here is a tip for you: you can underline or circle the key
information.
T: Time’s up! Tell me the answers, please.
T: You’re so clever. Here is the key information.
(2) Scanning: Read Pictures 2-3 and complete the results
T: In the diary, we know more about the teachers in part 2.
T: Some are kind but strict, some are …
T: How do you know?
T: Well done. Some teachers are helpful.
T: How about the food? Can you find more favorite food in part 3?
T: Can you show me the sentence?
T: You really have sharp eyes! Green beans are their favorite food, too.
So Chen Jie draws a heart on the menu.
Ⅲ. After doing the questionnaire
1. Share the questionnaire
T: At last, Chen Jie finishes the questionnaire. She sends it back and says:
“In Willow Primary School, some teachers are kind but strict. Some are helpful. And
they have English and maths every school day. Their favorite food is ice-cream,
hamburgers and green beans. Haha, ice cream is also my favorite food~”.基础教育精品课
T: Thank you Chen Jie, you’re so helpful.
2. Do your own questionnaire and share
T: Chen Jie wants to know our school, can you help?
You can finish the questionnaire and share it like this:
“In my school, some teachers are ___________. Some are ________. And we have
__________ and ________ every school day. How about our favorite food? Our
favorite food is ________and________.”
3. Demonstration and homework
T: Oh, look, here’s my students’ questionnaire.
They also make a video. Do you want to watch it? Here we go.
T: Our school is big and beautiful.

Do you have …every school day?
What’s your favorite food?
