教学目标
1. 能描述自己最喜欢的季节的气候及经常做的活动。
2. 能理解南北半球不同的气候特征。
3. 能读懂关于澳大利亚的季节、著名歌剧院的介绍。
4.能读懂英文诗歌Bed in summer。找出含有cl,pl,gr,ch,sh相同组合的单词。
教学内容
教学重点:
1. 读懂Stella的回信,并能为Sarah回信。
2. 澳大利亚四月和中国四月气候的不同。
教学难点:
南北半球气候的差异。
教学过程
Step1 Warm up
1 Think and say:how many months are there in a year? Yes. There are 12 months.
January, February, March, April, May, June, July, August, September, October,
November, and December. In China we have four seasons. They are spring, summer,
autumn and winter. 通过复习月份和季节导入话题。
2. Choose and say: Which months are in spring? Which months are in summer? Which
months are in autumn? Which months are in winter. Try it please. 引导学生对季节
和月份进行配对,并练习说。
3. Pair work:What’s weather like in each season in China? What do you often do in
the season? Can you make a dialogue with your partner? 学生对话练习
Step2 Presentation
1. Look and say: Look at this picture. Is it in China? No. It’s in Austrulia. This is the
famouse building in Australia—Sydney Opera House. 通过欣赏澳大利亚的照片导
入主题
2. Read and find out: Sarah will visit Sydney in April. She asks Stella, a friend there,
about the weather. Here is Stella’s reply. Please read and answer. 1. Is it spring in
Sydney in April? 2. What’s the weather like in April in Sydney?阅读回信找出问题
的线索。
