通过本课时学习，学生能够：
1.在看、听、说的活动中，获取梳理对话中Zoom与Zip谈论不同城市的天气情况以及
Zoom来到大连发生的故事大意。(学习理解)
2.能够在图片和教师的帮助下，分角色朗读对话。（应用实践）
3. 能够理解故事中所出现的西方习俗---打喷嚏时西方人喜欢说Bless you! 能够使用不
同词语表述不同地区的天气情况，并对实际的天气状况进行恰当的表达。（迁移创新）
4. 能够关注南北城市天气情况，关注好友或家人的旅途情况，通过书写明信片的形
式，表达关爱之情。（迁移创新）
教学内容
教学重点：
1. 能够听懂并会说句型What’s the weather like in Beijing/ …? It’s rainy/…
2. 能够听、说、认读单词have a cold，warm，cold，terrible，Bless you。
教学难点：
1.能够在语境中理解have a cold 的含义，了解cold 在不同语境中不同的意义与用
法。
2.能够在语境中理解Bless you. 的含义，了解中西方文化差异，树立跨文化交际的意之江汇教育广场
识。
3. 能够关注好友或家人的旅途情况，通过书写明信片的形式寄托关心。
教学过程
一、课前导学阶段。
Activity 1: Look and say
Hello, everyone! First, let’s look and say. Who are they? Mike, Mark, Chen Jie and
John’s dad. Where is Mike? He’s in Toronto. Where is Mark? He’s in New York. Where
is Chen Jie? He’s in Beijing. Where is John’s dad? He’s in Sydney.
What’s the weather like in these cities? Let’s have a look.
Activity 2: Look and say
Look at Mike. He’s in Toronto. It’s cold and snowy there. Now please look and say
like this…

二、课中探学阶段。
Activity 3: Watch and find.
Well, do you want to know: Where is Zoom? Where is Zip? Please watch the video
and find out.
So Zoom is in Beijing. The weather is warm. Zip is in Dalian. It’s cold there.
What’s wrong with Zip?
Yes, she has a cold.

Activity 4: Think and say.
Zip has a cold. She looks terrible. Read after me: terrible. Zip
is Zoom’s good friend. When she is ill, what does Zoom do? 作为Zip的
好朋友，当 Zip 生病了，Zoom 是怎么关心的呢？ Yes，he makes a call to
Zip.
What more will Zoom do? Think and say.
Chat on the WeChat, go and see Zip, send a postcard?
Now look and find.
He makes a call.
And he will go and see Zip.
Look, he can’t wait. He goes to Dalian.

Activity 5: Read and find.
Look at Zoom, what’s wrong with him? Yes, he has a cold, too. He
looks terrible.
What does Zoom have a cold? Read the story and find out.
Reason1: It’ s cold and rainy in Dalian.之江汇教育广场
What’s reason 2? Dali is not Dalian.
Look, here is Dalian, and here is Dali. It’s 23 degrees in Dali.
It’s warm and sunny. It’s 3 degrees in Dalian. It’s cold and rainy.
They are two different cities.

Activity 6:Let’s read along
Now let’s read along the story together. Pay attention to your
pronunciation and your intonation.
Activity 7: Listen and imitate
Now let’s listen and imitate the story.
Good to know:
在西方，当你身边的人打喷嚏时，你应该说句 bless you，表示关心与祝福。同
时对方应该礼貌性的回复一句“Thank you”。
Activity 8:Read by yourself
Now please read the story by yourself. Later, you can have a self-
assessment.

Activity 9: Think and say.
After learning the story, what do you think of Zoom? 学了这个故
事，你觉得Zoom怎么样？
Look，I think he is nice and warm to Zip.
But he is careless, too.

Boys and girls, can you name the story?

三、课后研学阶段。
Activity 11: Think and say
What do you learn from the story?
We should do things carefully. We should care for friends. We should
pay attention to the weather report.
Activity12：Think and write
如果你的朋友或家人生病了，你会选择哪种方式关心和问候呢？
Can you write a postcard to him or her?
And try to make your writing be correct, be beautiful, be complete!

Homework:
1. You must do: Read and act the story. Write a postcard.
2. Choose to do: Share your postcard with your classmates.
