之江汇教育广场 教学设计 课程基本信息 学科 英语 年级 四年级 学期 春季 课题 PEP小学英语四年级下册Unit3 Weather (Part C) 教科书 书 名:小学英语(人教版)教材 出版社:人民教育出版社 出版日期:2012年10月 单元主题内容框架图 教学目标 通过本课时学习,学生能够: 1.在看、听、说的活动中,获取梳理对话中Zoom与Zip谈论不同城市的天气情况以及 Zoom来到大连发生的故事大意。(学习理解) 2.能够在图片和教师的帮助下,分角色朗读对话。(应用实践) 3. 能够理解故事中所出现的西方习俗---打喷嚏时西方人喜欢说Bless you! 能够使用不 同词语表述不同地区的天气情况,并对实际的天气状况进行恰当的表达。(迁移创新) 4. 能够关注南北城市天气情况,关注好友或家人的旅途情况,通过书写明信片的形 式,表达关爱之情。(迁移创新) 教学内容 教学重点: 1. 能够听懂并会说句型What’s the weather like in Beijing/ …? It’s rainy/… 2. 能够听、说、认读单词have a cold,warm,cold,terrible,Bless you。 教学难点: 1.能够在语境中理解have a cold 的含义,了解cold 在不同语境中不同的意义与用 法。 2.能够在语境中理解Bless you. 的含义,了解中西方文化差异,树立跨文化交际的意之江汇教育广场 识。 3. 能够关注好友或家人的旅途情况,通过书写明信片的形式寄托关心。 教学过程 一、课前导学阶段。 Activity 1: Look and say Hello, everyone! First, let’s look and say. Who are they? Mike, Mark, Chen Jie and John’s dad. Where is Mike? He’s in Toronto. Where is Mark? He’s in New York. Where is Chen Jie? He’s in Beijing. Where is John’s dad? He’s in Sydney. What’s the weather like in these cities? Let’s have a look. Activity 2: Look and say Look at Mike. He’s in Toronto. It’s cold and snowy there. Now please look and say like this… (通过读表任务,巩固复习旧知,提高学生语言表达能力。) 二、课中探学阶段。 Activity 3: Watch and find. Well, do you want to know: Where is Zoom? Where is Zip? Please watch the video and find out. So Zoom is in Beijing. The weather is warm. Zip is in Dalian. It’s cold there. What’s wrong with Zip? Yes, she has a cold. (通过观看任务,提高学生提取关键信息的能力。) Activity 4: Think and say. Zip has a cold.
