5、了解南北半球的季节及文化差异。

教学重点：

1. 了解南北半球的季节差异的地理原因。
2. 抓住关键信息，尝试替换词句，续编故事，达成语言的丰富输出。
教学过程
1.let’s sing
First let's sing together then you tell me what's the song about。
Now can you tell me what's the song about yeah it's about seasons do
you know what are they ? They are spring summer autumn and winter.
2. Guessing game
Now can you guess which season does Miss Zhai like best.
Look! I have a riddle for you.Can you read this? it's sunny and warm
there are beautiful flowers everywhere I can fly a kite and go on a
picnic.
I can plant trees in tree planting day.Which season? Yeah, it's
spring?
3.Make riddle
How about your favourite season? Can u make a riddle like me?
Now we know different people like different seasons.

Now who can tell me which season does Zip like best? Yeah, it’s
spring. Why? Because there are beautiful flowers everywhere.How about
Zoom? He likes winter best. He can sleep all day. Great!
5. Look and say
Look, Which season is it? It's winter, but Zoom is not sleeping today.
Where are they? Yeah, airport! Read after me airport.they are waiting
for a good friend. Look! he is coming. Who is he? Koala!(范读)Where is
he from?
Can you guess why he comes to China today? In such a special day,
what are they talking about? What will zoom say? Can u guess? Maybe he
will ask koala:
OK,let’s check (句型：What do you usually do on
Christmas day? read after me .)
6.Watch and answer
Now, let's watch and find out what does Koala usually do on Christmas
day.
Look at zoom's face? Is he happy, sad or confused? Yeah he's
confused so zoom say"You swim in winter？"Can you be zoom?
7.Good to know
Why koala can swim in winter? we are confused, too. Christmas is in
summer in Australia, but now we are in winter. do you know why? Now
let's watch a video and know more about the differences. From this video
we know when we are in winter,they are in summer.So they never have snow
for Christmas.

Now let's do the role reading. I will be Zoom.OK,let's go.

Now we know zip likes spring best zoom likes winter best how about
koala? Now, let's watch and find out.Now we know koala like summer
best,but now it's winter in China.What do they do on Christmas day?
