教学目标
通过本课时学习，学生能够：
1.通过看图说话和听力任务，在游戏中复习呈现1-3单元核心词汇和句型。(学习理解)
2.通过完成问题链和信息表格，呈现Sarah和朋友约定去图书馆看服装秀的故事，让学
生在结构化语言支架的梳理中，加深对故事的记忆，综合复习1~3单元的核心句型、词汇及
句型。(学习理解)
3.通过阅读John一天的文本，观察图文信息，圈出不符合的单词，让学生在贴近日常
生活中完成有意义的阅读任务。（应用实践）
4. 通过让学生制作一张自己一天的时间表，将知识迁移创新，运用到现实生活，学会
合理安排时间和活动。
教学内容
教学重点：
1. 能够在读图游戏、听力和图文信息比对的活动中，滚动复习1-3单元所学的词汇和
句子。
2. 能够在理解故事大意的基础上，梳理结构化语言支架。
教学难点：
1. 能够在制作自己一天的时间表的任务中，将知识迁移创新，运用到现实生活。
2. 能够在学完故事后，表达自己的看法和思想。
教学过程
一、课前导学阶段。
Activity 1: Look and say
Hello, boys and girls! What can you see in the picture? Sun, cloud, playground,
trees, first floor, second floor, computer room, music room, teachers’ office, library, art
room.
What’s the weather like in this picture? Yes, it’s cloudy.
（通过看图说话，以趣味的形式复习单词。）
Activity 2: Listen and tick
Look at the weather, cloudy, snowy, windy, rainy, warm, hot, sunny, cold, cool.
We know different cities have different weather.
Which city is it? Beijing, Harbin, Shanghai, Lhasa, Sanya, Hong Kong.
What’s the weather like in these cities? Let’s listen to the weather report and tick.
Activity 3: Let’s check
Now let’s check, 6 stars for this task. Good afternoon! This is the weather report.之江汇教育广场
Today it's snowy in Beijing. In Shanghai, it's cloudy. It's windy in Harbin and Lhasa. In
Sanya, it's sunny. And in Hong Kong, It's rainy. Well, that's the weather report for today.

二、课中探学阶段。
Activity 4: Watch and find.
Look, who are they? Sarah and her friend Mary.
What’s the weather like in their city? Let’s watch the video and find out. It’s cold
and windy. It’s also rainy.
Where are they? Now read the picture of the story and find.
At home. On the way to the … look what’s this? Show. On the way to the show.

Activity 5: Read and find.
Well, what show is it? When is the show? Where is the show? Now read the story
and finish the show information.
Now let’s find together. When is the show? At 4 o’clock. Where is the show? In the
library. Where is the library? It’s on the first floor. What show is it? It’s a clothes show.

Activity 6: Listen and repeat.
Now, let’s listen and repeat the story. Pay attention to the pronunciation, and
intonation.
Activity 7:Read aloud
Boys and girls, this time please read the story aloud. Good job.
Activity 8: Think and say
After reading the story, please think about: Why is the show cancelled? Maybe
because …it’s rainy. Maybe because …there’s something wrong with the library.
From home to the library, How do the girls feel? They are happy at home. They are
disappointed because of the show cancelled.
Boys and girls, what do you learn from this story? Chinese is OK. For me, I learn that:
We should watch the weather report before going outside. We should know more
information before going to the activites.

Activity 9: Look and say.
This story is about Sarah’s a day. Do you still remember all these information? Let’s
say together. It’s 3:40. The weather is windy. The girls are chatting at home.
It’s 4 o’clock. It’s rainy outside. They are on the way to the show. They go to the
library.
So this is Sarah’s day. What about John’s day?

Activity10: Read and circle

Activity 11: Make a timetable
These are the timetables of Sarah’s day and John’s day. Can you make your own
timetable? Please have a try. And try to make your writing be correct, be beautiful, be
complete!

Boys and girls, have you finished the timetable? Can you talk about your day?
Here’s the model. This is my day. It's 6:30 in the morning. The weather is sunny. I get
up and have breakfast at home.
Now it’s your turn. Maybe after class you can share your day with your classmates.
