教学目标
1.学生能通过多模态途径学习理解自我介绍和描述学校生活的语篇，从中比较一般过去时、
一般现在时和一般将来时等三种时态的使用。
2.学生能通过学习Mike和Bill自我介绍和描述学校生活的方式，在具体情境中介绍、描
述、复述和撰写自己的日常生活。
3.学生能在真实语境下，举一反三进行其它内容的介绍、描述、复述和撰写，学会了解与关
心朋友、全面看待自身发展并合理规划将来的人生哲理。
教学内容
教学重点：
1.学生复习巩固小学阶段核心词句及第一与第三人称间的转化。
2.学生能运用一般过去时、一般现在时和一般将来时来描述自己和他人的生活变化。
教学难点：
1.学生能在真实语境下，学会举一反三，发展语用能力，提升核心素养。
2.学生学会了解与关心朋友、全面看待自身发展并合理规划将来的人生哲理。
教学过程
Topic 1: Mike’s school life
Mike and Bill are good friends now. They want to know more about each other. Bill studies in a
small village. He is very curious about Mike’s school life in Beijing. Mike made a PPT to show his
school life.
Activity 1: Read and choose.
What’s Mike’s PPT about?
A. Mike’s friends at school.
B. Mike’s special days at school.
C. Mike’s classes at school.
Activity 2: Read, tick and match.
What classes are introduced? What does Mike do in those classes?

Activity 3: Talk about Mike’s activities in different classes.
Talk about Mike’s activities in different classes. How does he feel in those classes?
Example:
Mike often answers maths questions in maths class. He is confident although sometimes the
questions are difficult.
Activity 4: Read, underline and improve.
After learning Mike’s school life, Bill told his friends about Mike. Read and judge if Bill’s
introduction is right. If not, please underline the mistakes and try to improve.
1. Mike likes Monday best. His favourite class is English. (PE)
2. English is his first class on Monday. He reads many English stories, and he likes to speak
English with his friends. (Maths)
3. In the maths class, Mike often answers very difficult maths questions. (sometimes)
4. In the PE class, Mike sometimes plays basketball or exercises in the gym. He likes basketball

Topic 2: Bill’s poster
Now Mike wants to know more about Bill. Bill is not good at making PPT, but he can draw very
well. He drew a poster for himself.
Activity 1: Look and say.
What information can you get from Bill’s poster?
Example:
Bill liked candy and basketball when he was 5. However, he couldn’t skip rope because he was too
short.
Activity 2: Introduce Bill in groups.
Student 1: Look! This is Bill’s poster.
Student 2: Bill liked … when he was 5 years old, but he couldn’t … because …
Student 3: Bill is 12 years old now. He likes … but he can’t …

Activity 3: Read and tick or cross.
Mike told his friends about Bill. Read Mike’s introduction and tick or cross.

Take out your poster, share it in groups and try to introduce yourself (before, now and future).
Activity 2: Tips to help you express.
Before, I liked football. But I couldn’t play basketball because I was short. Now, I like
playing basketball. I am taller than before. My teacher often plays basketball with me. In
the future, I will play basketball very well.
