They want to know more about each other. Bill studies in a small village. He is very curious about Mike’s school life in Beijing. Mike made a PPT to show his school life. Activity 1: Read and choose. What’s Mike’s PPT about? A. Mike’s friends at school. B. Mike’s special days at school. C. Mike’s classes at school. Activity 2: Read, tick and match. What classes are introduced? What does Mike do in those classes? Talk about Mike’s activities in different classes. How does he feel in those classes? Example: Mike often answers maths questions in maths class. He is confident although sometimes the questions are difficult. Activity 4: Read, underline and improve. After learning Mike’s school life, Bill told his friends about Mike. Read and judge if Bill’s introduction is right. If not, please underline the mistakes and try to improve. 1. Mike likes Monday best. His favourite class is English. (PE) 2. English is his first class on Monday. He reads many English stories, and he likes to speak English with his friends. (Maths) 3. In the maths class, Mike often answers very difficult maths questions. (sometimes) 4. In the PE class, Mike sometimes plays basketball or exercises in the gym. He likes basketball best. (football) Topic 2: Bill’s poster Now Mike wants to know more about Bill. Bill is not good at making PPT, but he can draw very well. He drew a poster for himself. Activity 1: Look and say. What information can you get from Bill’s poster?
