通过本节课的学习,学生能够:

真实情境中尝试运用谈论自己的假期生活;(应用实践类)
3. 增强根据题干、图片等进行预测的能力,能围绕核心句型写一写自己的 bad but good
day;(迁移创新类)
教学内容
教材分析:
What: B部分继续讨论孩子们的假期生活。Let’s try谈论了Sarah的寒假之旅;Let’s
talk以对话的形式呈现了Amy寒假三亚行;Let’s learn 以Wu Binbin的寒假生活复习巩固相
关词汇;Read and write以日记的形式呈现了Wu Binbin在乡村偶遇小狗、妈妈生病、全家
一起被Robin逗乐的一天。该部分在Part A基础上丰富了假期生活的谈论话题。
How: 本部分以对话、日记等多种体裁形式讲述孩子们的假期和平时生活。设计了听、
说、读、看、写等丰富的语言学习活动,帮助孩子在相对真实的情境中获得语言、思维、文
化等多方面的学习与提升。
Why: B部分的主题依旧是Wonderful holidays和Amazing China,通过书中主人公的
所见所闻展示祖国的大好河山。同时,Wu Binbin的日记又传递出了乐观、积极、向上的生
活态度。
教学重难点:

掌握句型:Where did you go? How did you go there? What did you do?等,并能在
真实情境中尝试运用谈论自己的假期生活。
教学难点:
能围绕核心句型和所学词汇说一说、写一写自己的bad but good day。
学情分析
学生已经接触并使用了一般过去时谈论周末、假期生活,学习了常见动词的一般过去
时的规则变化和不规则变化,积累了一些谈论假期生活的句型,如: Where did you go?
What did you do? Did you...? 本部分在句型、体裁上都会更加丰富,同时不规则变化的动
词也会更多,孩子们需要及时整理和积累。

Step 1: Warm up and lead in
1. Review the phrases by playing a game.
2. Talk about T’s winter holiday.
Step 2: Talk about Sarah’s and Amy’s winter holidays
1. Listen to the dialogue in Let’s try and finish the exercise in the text book.
2. Retell Sarah’s winter holiday by using the mind map.
3. Read the pictures and predict Amy’s winter holiday.
4. Watch the video and check the prediction.
5. Listen to the tape and read the dialogue nicely.
6. Sum up.
When we talk about trips, we can usually use the patterns below:
Where did you go? How did you go there? Who did you go with? What did you do
there? Did you like it...
Step 3: Talk about Wu Binbin’s summer holiday in the countryside
1. Listen to the dialogue and circle the right pictures about what Binbin did during his
summer holiday.
2. Guess how Binbin met Max the dog according to the pictures.
3. Read the Binbin’s diary quickly and number the pictures.
4. Read it again carefully and circle the bad and good things happened to Binbin.
5. Retell Binbin’s day according to the pictures and phrases.
Step 4: Write your own bad but good day
Give 2 different levels for Ss to choose.
Level A:
Today was a bad but good day for me.
First, it was a bad day. .
But what did I do then? .
So it was also a good day. As the saying goes, “Bad luck often brings good luck.”
Level B:
Today was a bad but good day for me. .
. So it was also a good day. As the saying
goes, “Bad luck often brings good luck.”
