4.1.1Step I lead－in
1.Ask students to brainstorm and talk about some traditional festivals
they know.
2.Show some festivals on the screen and ask them”What festivals is it?
What do you do on that day?What do you eat on that day?”
4.1.2Step II Presentation
Show the picture on the screen.It’s Mid-Autumn Festival.And ask
students?
When is the Mid-Autumn Festival?
How do you celebrate it?
What delicious food do people eat on this day in China?
(1)Discuss the questions together.
(2)Let some groups report their answer.
(3)Give students some possible answer.
4.1.3Step III ReadingTalk about the Mid-Autumn Festival to let students know more about it.
Go through and find the answer to the questions in 3a.
Check the answer and find out relative sentences.
Ask students to read again carefully and get further information and
finish 3b.
Read the passage again carefully and fill in the blanks in 3c.
